View Full Version : Detroit and San Antonio in the NBA Finals?
What do you think if Detroit and San Antonio were to play in the NBA Finals? Would it be a great Finals? Would you not like the lack of scoring? Would it get a lower rating than last year's San Antonio/New Jersey Finals?
I would enjoy it. I remember the Knicks/Heat series of the late 90's and I enjoyed those series. The part I would enjoy the most is the fact that Kobe, Shaq, and Phil would be watching at home.
Dutabi84 04-20-2004, 03:36 PM I'd rather watch flies lay maggots in cow crap than watch those 2 play in the finals.

Well detroit maybe going home now. They maybe losing 2 in a row in Milwaukee
isiahthomas 04-23-2004, 10:44 AM Solomon once again your opinion is wack. Detroit isn't gonna lose 2 straight to Milwaukee in Milwaukee. Detroit is gonna win the series i think. If Milwaukee does win the series, i will be shocked.
sinatrastar 04-23-2004, 11:02 AM Milwaukee matches up horribly with the Pistons, I would also be shocked if it goes past 6 games, let alone if the Bucks won.
The only chance is if Detroit gets out of their game. Rip Hamilton freaked out at the end of the game becuase of Desond Mason and wanted to go fight him, I am not sure why. Mason never seems to talk any trash so i am not sure what that was all about. It was funny when Hamilton threw his ugly looking face mask and was called for a technical. Maybe Rasheed will go nuts and attack a ref and get suspended for the series, then the Bucks have a chance. ;)
isiahthomas 04-23-2004, 11:15 AM LOL@Richard Hamilton got a ugly face mask. That thing is ugly. Richard & Desmond Mason got into it because Richard got into it with Michael Redd so Desmond was helping out Michael by talkin trash with Richard. Rasheed tried to separate Richard & Desmond by pushing Desmond away. Desmond was really upset at Richard. I could read his lips. I could tell he was cursin at Richard. These players are really some whiners & complainers. Richard should've remained calm & kept his composure. He knows this series is important & Detroit needs him. He can't afford to be arguing with refs & gettin into it with his opponent. I've never seen Richard act that way before. On his way to the locker room when he got ejected, he continued to argue with the ref. I guess these athletes will never learn. They have to shut their damn mouths & stop crying about every call that the refs don't make. They know the refs are blind so why continue to get upset.
Like I said before, I will not take the Bucks seriously unless they win game 3. Even if they win game 3 and 4, I would not be very confident in the Bucks winning this series, because of what happened to the Bucks in the last 3 games of the regular season, when all they had to do to clinch the 4 seed was win one game and they blow it, and how they played in the end of game 2, almost blowing the game.
Besides the Pistons came back from 3-1 last year aganst the Magic. I will be rooting for the Bucks, but I wouldn't bet any money on them.

THEY EJECTED HIM FROM THE BENCH..so what.*l*
isiahthomas 04-23-2004, 04:55 PM The refs didn't eject Richard from the bench. They ejected him for gettin into it with Desmond Mason & he kept runnin off at the mouth.
sinatrastar 04-23-2004, 05:14 PM Here is what happened. He was called for a charge whn Desmond Mason stepped in front of him and they collided. He was upset at the call as it was his 6th foul and he was therefore foulded out. He then threw his dumb little mask when he was walking to the bench. They then called a technical foul on him, and since he already had an earlier technical it was an automatic ejection and he had to leave. He then kept crying and b#tching and should have gotten another technical but didnt.
Then Mr. Clutch, Keith Van Horn missed the free throw for the technical and from then on the Bucks sucked and barely won.
jekouptown 04-23-2004, 05:25 PM so he didn't get ejected until after he fouled out.......then he got a technical foul
isiahthomas 04-24-2004, 12:02 PM I thought Richard charged into Michael Redd? That's what i saw on the replay.
I told you guys the Bucks are not that good. They fold under the pressure. Almost everytime they went to the free throw line in the 4th quarter, they went 1 for 2.
