It's been 5 years since the Columbine shooting. This is also the first year that no one in the entire student body was there while the shooting happened.

I was just thinking about that. April 20, 1999. Hard to believe it's been 5 years already.

I was 13 years old (going on 14) and just finishing up 8th grade. I believe I would have been at lunch when the first shootings occurred.

yeah i remember hearing about that. it's really sad. about a week ago some guy at my school got arrested for bringing a gun to school, he was gonna kill a few people including one of my brother's friends.. i got really freaked out when i heard that. i saw the police at the school, i thought he just got arretsed for having drugs or something.

I was in 9th grade at the time. That day I was the sickest I'd ever been in my life. I turned on the tv not long after the news broke out, but I was so sick I didn't really realize what had happened. God, it was awful.

Very sad day indeed. I learned a couple of years later that 2 people at my (later-to-be) High School stood up when the shootings first started and went "boom!".

I was a senior in high school when that happened. I think it's horrible when things like that happen. I was bullied a lot in school so I know how the shooters must have felt, but that's still no reason to kill your classmates.
