I was just wondering for those of you who have Dish Network if it's going wacky like mine. Every time I turn on the TV, it says default and acquiring signal, but it never does. I go to menu and to point dish/signal and check the switch (whatever that crap means) but it has no signal at all. It's driving me even nuttier than I already am!!!! I checked all the connections and stuff. My aunt's dish network satellite dish is doing the same thing, so something weird is going on...She even lives 10 miles away. They took their receiver to get it checked, so I should find out tomorrow what's going on. Is anyone elses acting weird?

We just got the new one installed, and it's worked fine. But I know what you're talking about. It's happened before once, but not now.

Try turning it off for a couple minutes, then turn it back on. There's usually an extremely simple solution to problems like this.

We were having a few problems. They blacked out one of the ESPN's that we have, while the Dallas Stars were supposed to play.

Yeah. Pull the Smart Card out of the receiver for 5 seconds and see if that works. Solves many problems.
