Every channel edits. TBS edited, Oxygen edited, N@N edits. Life's not fair.

Until official DVDs of Roseanne are released, I doubt you'll ever get to see the episodes uncut, as they originally aired on ABC. Unless, of course, you are lucky enough to have them on tape from back then...

What I would do for some of those tapes!

The scene where Darlene and that other girl were fighting over David I think was edited out. I was so mad! Also, all the channels edit out the men's bathroom scene of one of the halloween episodes. I saw it in its right place once, but that was the only time I saw it unedited. Luckily, they always show it on the Clip Show anyway. I didn't think there was anything bad in there.

Also I used to have the Vegas episodes on tape (my sister recorded the final episode of Full House over them) and I remember so many more scenes in that episode. Also I have seen a picture from the Pied Piper of Lanford episode of a cut scene where Becky and Darlene are in the kitchen with popcorn talking. There are so many uncut scenes, I wanna see them!

the reason they cut the episodes in the US is to fit more commercials.. the evil Syndication cuts.

outside of the US, in England for instance, the episodes are shown uncut as far as I know.

yeah.

i have Terms of Estrangement on tape from a friend in the US, i watched it and it was about 22 minutes, them i saw it in the UK... almost 24 minutes.. so 2 minutes are cut out from an episode.. thats a LOT

Its time for roseanne on dvd.
or you should come to holland because in holland nothing gets edited and there is only a commercial every half hour.;)

They cut for time not content, the more commercials they show the more money they get from advertisers

I know that nick at nite edied a halloween episode of Roseanne, i don't know the name of the episode but i believe roseanne is dressed up as a man for halloween with a beard and walks into the lobo lounge... they edited out the scene where Roseanne walks into the men's room and pretends to go to the bathroom.
