What is your favorite line on ILL that everyone else takes for granted, but you spend ten minutes Rolling on the floor laughing?

My faovirte would be when Ethel says "What would happen if I cried everytime I gained a pound?" and then Fred replies with "We'd be up to our ears in tears!" No one really laughs at this joke, but I crack up into hysterical laughter!

So, what is your favorite underappreciated line?

I like in the "Pioneer Women" when Lucy is making the loaf and she is kneading the dough and she goes "Well, it's a happy little loaf!"

I don't know from what episode this is(I took it from the book "The Quotable ILL" ;) ) but it seems that Lucy wants a new dress(duh! like always hehe) and Ricky is telling her no and he said: "You don't hear Ethel asking Fred to buy her a new dress". and then Ethel said: "I'll be lucky if he buys me my lunch." Hahaha! It's kinda funny but my sister doesn't think so.

Oh! Oh! another one!!! :D
Is kinda the same as the other one. This, I think, is when they went to London. Lucy said to Ethel: "Wouldn't you feel terrible if you went home without seeing the queen?" and Ethel said: "I'd feel much worse if I went home without spending the money Fred gave me". Oy, that Fred is such a cheapskate! Hahaha! Cracks me up everytime!!!

I always laugh when Ricky says, "Look, all I know is that Columbus discovered Ohio in 1776," in "Lucy Gets Ricky on the Radio." Nobody else seems to think it's that funny, but it cracks me up every time, lol.

Omg..every time Desi says like 7:30 or 10:30, anything with 30 I crack up sooo much! Like when he said "7:30!" on "Little Ricky Learns to Play the Drums" LOL! The way he says it..hahaha!

I just thought of another line that I love but I'm not sure why, lol. When the cast appears on Toast of the Town with Ed Sullivan, Lucy picks up the phone after Desi had hung up and says, "Ed? Ed? Oh Ed?" The way she says it is just so funny to me.

In the Monte Carlo episode when Ricky finds the money in Ethel's suitcase and says "Fred, I'm afraid I've caught you red handed", the way Fred mocks Ricky's english by saying "You have not caught me red hannit" strikes me as hilarious and makes it one of my favorite ILL scenes.

When Ricky has lost his voice and tries to sing Babalu he is horse and Lucy look at him in pity and says that was pretty Baba-lousy.

In the operetta when Lucy is the Queen of the Gypsies, and she is slurring her words, she tells Ethel ala Lilly of the villy to s[h]it down.

and when she explains to Ethel that she post dated that chec Ethel has that "we're in for it now" looks.

In Scotland when Desi says "You gotta a matta pritta face"
Lucy replies "I got a matta prita face"

In LDCH when Tallulah Bankhead comes to dinner and the rolls drop on the floor, Fred pick them up, dusts them off and goes around the table and asks if anyone still wants one, and he comes to Tallulah and she goes Nooooooooooo.
It just rolls and she turns her head in disgust.

In the same episode when Tallulah tastes the jame and expects it to be orange marmalade and she says ...this tatstes like strawberries, and Etel and Desi reply Strawberries???
Lucy replies
SURPRISE!!!!

Lucy buys new furniture and hised it in the kitchen and they eat in the living room, Ricky keeps sending Lucy amuck for condiments and he wants butter and Lucy replies "What for?" and Desi replies for the bread
Butter on bread??? I will never get accustomed to your strange Cuban dishes.

Here's another favorite of mine from the Tallulah Bankhead episode. I can't remember the exact wording (it's been way too long since I've seen it), but basically Ethel is totally fed up from pretending to be Lucy's maid and when Lucy says something to the effect of, "That will be all, Ethel", she replies in a exagerrated sarcastic tone, "You bet your sweet life it will!"

I love the way she said that!

Lucy: Oh, gee, Ethel, thanks...Its times like these when you know what friends are for.
Ethel:If I had known this is what friends where for Id have signed up as an enemy.

Lucy: I Love You!
Ricky: Lucy, What do you want?

Ricky: Hey listen, do you know anything about rice?
Fred: Well, I had it thrown at me on one of the darkest days of my life...

Lucy: Is Ethel there?
Fred: No.
Lucy: Well, where is she?
Fred: How should I know?
Lucy: Well, She's your wife.
Fred: Did you wake me up just to rub it in?

Lucy: Now, honey, remeber when we were married you wanted to be joined together in matrimony.
Ricky: Ans as I recall it was, "Til death do us part"
Lucy: Yeah, thats right.
Ricky: Well, that event is about to take place right now!
