Does anybody know if, when Full House was canceled, it was at it's peak, or if it was gettng higher ratings than the previous season (season 7)?


And then just some opinion quesions:
1. Do you guys think Season 9 would have had higher ratings than season 8?

2. Do you guys think season 8 would have had higher ratings if ABC had announced that Season 8 was going to be their last season?

There were actually 8 seasons. Here's the info from TVTome:

1990-1991: #14
1991-1992: #7
1992-1993: #10
1993-1994: #16
1994-1995: #25


So looks like it peaked at season 5, and the started running down in the later seasons.

I have it from the book "The Complete Directory to Prime Time Networks and Cable TV Shows".:) "Full House" has the same ratings from the book. The 1991-92 season was #7, the final season was #25.:)

Looking at the episodes from the final season you can tell that Full House truly ran its course. They got out just at the right time. If they went another season it would had been too painful to watch.

Well...I actually enjoyed the later seasons MUCH MORE than say, seasons 1-3...seasons 4-5 were better, but seasons 6-8 were my favorite!

I agree with the ratings, Season 5 was the best.
