Well, they did live in the Pacific Heights district :D I just checked out some price listings, and it seems a Victorian house similar to the one in San Francisco and in that neigborhood goes from 1-2 million.

Well, house prices have really gotten out of hand in the Bay Area. The median home price in San Francisco is something like $600,000 these days.

But besides the house, you do have a valid point, in fact, someone mentioned this before. You have two television anchors, a rock star, and a comic/television personality. They'd probably make a whole lot of money.

first off..ur house prices r crazy!! haha, and yea i dont know why, but i noticed that they shoulda been more of a richy rich fam. Newayz, I jus feel full house was too much of a goody two shoes family that was unbelieveably perfect, but oh well i still watch and enjoy haha.

Even more ridiculous was the fact that Becky would want to live in someone's attic when they could afford a nice home of their own!

Just because they had those jobs doesn't mean they had money. Who knows what the jobs paid...and who knows how famous those shows were...

Remember Jesse trying to get a loan for The Smash Club? He obviously didn't have money.

yea..jesse didnt have money b/c the writers needed to use the script to make an episode..but realisticly if the writers followed what they wrote for previous episodes theyd be loaded, but they wanted jesse to struggle with money to make the episode interesting.

Well, letīs count on it...

They live in a very good area/neibourhood. A pretty big house and have more than one car. In the seasons you se:

1 van (Dannys I guess)
3 red luxy cars (Dannys "Bullet", Dannys new "Walter" and Jesses "Sally".
1 private car (Dannys which he learn D.J. to drive in)
1 motorbike (Jesses)
1 WV Beatle (Joeys but I guess they write that car out cuz you never see that car more than once)
And - which car was showed in the episode when Michelle turned 3 years old?

And they have just one house rent to pay in a family of 4 adults, they have much money over after they pay their rents on the house. They can (without saving a lot) go to Florida and Disney World. And to Hawaii in the second season. My point is, they had pretty much money left cause they couldenīt travvel a lot without saving. And they had money to send D.J. to a college which is pretty expensive. So, if you count all those things they had, all travells they made, more than 3 cars, a big house... So I guess they was upper middle class. The Tanners was pretty rich. At least, Jesse was a high rated popstar in Asia and made many tours with his band.

So, once for all - they was pretty rich but lived togheter as a family. Not super rich as Nelson but at least more than a regular middle class family.

I hate to bring up such an old thread. I know how that annoys people. But I happen to live in San Francisco and it is a very expensive place to live. Most people here could never afford a house the size of The Tanners. Also people have mentioned on this thread and in some others why Jessie, Becky and the Twins or Joey never moved out. Well there's 2 reasons for this. 1. In San Francisco it is very common for people to live together like the Tanners did. Since the cost of living is so high it is much easier for several people to live in a house together like they did, so they can all have a proper amount of money to live on. 2. The writers wanted to keep everyone living there so it would be easier to include all the charachters in all the story lines. If Joey or Jessie were ever to move out. They would have to keep coming up with reasons for them to come visit the house, and also to include them in whatever was going on at the house at the same time. this would have been difficult. I think Danny however was pretty well to do. Because he was living in that house all by himself and paying all the bills at the start of the series. I guess being a Sportscaster he would make really good money and not have to worry about much. But I can't help but think the reason why he asked Jessie and Joey to move in was not just to help raise the girls, but to save money too :) Just thought I'd add my 2 cents to this rather old thread.
