Why are you asking us? You need to ask TJ. He makes the final decision. Anyways I don't really remember why you were banned in the first place but you never did anything to me so I don't have any problem with you getting another chance to post here. :)

This thread is probably going to be deleted so here is my two cents anyway.

Brett, the reason you were banned is because you kept posting pointless things just to boost your post total. You were obsessed with it. Like the time PB deleted a number of your posts and you asked him why the posts were missing and you gave him the EXACT number of posts that were missing. That is obsessed. Your ego problem also contributed to it. You were told not to do this stuff but you did it again several days later.

Expect your new name to be banned. :bye:

Brian, I won't cause trouble this time. I don't care how many times I post, we'll just have fun. But the fighting has to end I've been reading these forums and it's become pure hell.

And yes, even though I have mild Asperger's, I'm not to boost my total. :)

OK. I promise I won't cause trouble. One thing I want to point out is in order to end the fighting, does anyone think the Chit Chat forum should be closed? Because before TJ pointed out that it was in the danger of closing. And also, making fun of people's disabilities is really rude to do over the internet. There are many people including me that have ADHD/Aspergers and they post at this message board. You know, my parents always tell me, when someone is rude to you Just Ignore Them! What do you all think about that?

I don't think I'd mind if Brett came back now that I think of it. I've seen worse members on the boards. I think now that the post totals are removed and the Top 50 Posters list gone, there'd be no point in him trying to boost his total because it will only be viewable in his profile. It is all up to TJ, though.

There is no 100% way to end fighting on a certain board. There will be the occasional troublemaker but since Janice was made moderator of this board back in October it has really quieted down.

If it is closed this site will end up losing a lot of people. TJ made a very good decision to have these moderators help him. Janice in particular has been doing a great job lately of locking threads at the first sign of trouble. That's what this board needs. All these troublemakers will eventually settle down if they know their threads will be closed and they can no longer get a rise out of people.

I think that troublemakers will exit (or have exited) once they realize that they can't create trouble or pick on people anymore.
