Remember in Up In the Air? When Jack took those tranquilizers? What do they actually do? He was acting like he was drunk , or was it supposed to make him drunk?

what tranquilizers do is to help calm nerves,make a person totally relaxed
when mixed with acohol it has the opposite effect and makes the person become hyperactive ie:dancing talking and very wide awake.

yea, i know with my exp of pain killers, (perqs, and vicodan) i'd take two and i'd feel really floaty, however the slightist bit of alcohol gets intensified to as if you were drinking a lot! haha they say it's bad for the liver, so it's not recomended!

ya i dont think it was suppose to make him drunk but sleepy. b/c b4 he drank the rocket he was starting to fall asleep.

When he drank that drink(I forgot what it was called but it had to do with a rocket),I was like 5,4,3,2,1 Blast Off!
