Vegas Girl 04-17-2004, 09:42 AM Why not sooner than later? There are other singers who are clearly better than him. I suppose if I was a teenage girl I might have a crush on him too, but based on SINGING TALENT, he had no chance of winning this competition. ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 04-17-2004, 11:08 AM No. His voice wasnt the best and wasnt worthy of winning the idol title compared to the rest, but for that night... he didnt deserve to go. Exactly. That was his best performance ever. If he went on oh, lets say, motown night..well I'd be mad but it'd be fair cuz he did bad. But this week was his best and...well he didn't deserve it. -*Leah*- 04-17-2004, 09:50 PM No, he did not deserve to go. *InThisMoment* 04-17-2004, 09:51 PM Nope. No way. *shakes head* David 04-17-2004, 10:09 PM Not this early! Not at all. ~*Hannah_Lee*~ 04-17-2004, 11:49 PM Absolutely not this early! I never really expected him to win, but I really thought he would end up in the top 3, after Elton John said that about him and Rolling Stone picked him to win. But I'm not really worried about him being off of the show, I think he's still gonna continue to do great things with his music. vienna waits 04-18-2004, 12:28 AM Yes. A good performance ( though mediocre ) doesn't void all other awful and bland performances. It's a collective thing. If it wasn't, Clay would have been kicked off before Kimberley Locke (Vincent.....). ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 04-18-2004, 12:39 AM Originally posted by Idol Fanatic Yes. And it wasnt his fault he messed up Vincent. -.- |
