I really think NO!!!! He was the best last night IMO.

Why not sooner than later? There are other singers who are clearly better than him. I suppose if I was a teenage girl I might have a crush on him too, but based on SINGING TALENT, he had no chance of winning this competition.

No. His voice wasnt the best and wasnt worthy of winning the idol title compared to the rest, but for that night... he didnt deserve to go.

Exactly. That was his best performance ever. If he went on oh, lets say, motown night..well I'd be mad but it'd be fair cuz he did bad. But this week was his best and...well he didn't deserve it.

Absolutely not this early! I never really expected him to win, but I really thought he would end up in the top 3, after Elton John said that about him and Rolling Stone picked him to win. But I'm not really worried about him being off of the show, I think he's still gonna continue to do great things with his music.

Yes. A good performance ( though mediocre ) doesn't void all other awful and bland performances. It's a collective thing. If it wasn't, Clay would have been kicked off before Kimberley Locke (Vincent.....).

And it wasnt his fault he messed up Vincent. -.-
