Tvshowsondvd.com has announced that the first season for this lovely show is in the works and will hopefully be out in time for Christmas. I hope that this set gets treatment that we have seen on The Dick Van Dyke Show sets, with lots of bonus features such as audio commentaries. The good news with this show is that practically every actor/actress of the show is living, with the exception of the late Fransis Bavier.

No word on extras, etc. but the date of Season One will be October 12th

Yes, but the majority of the main stars are all still alive. I mean, take a look at the Bewitched cast. Hardly anyone is still living. At least with The Andy Griffith Show, we know that Andy Griffith, Don Knotts, Ron Howard, Jim Nabors, George Lindsey, and several others will all be around to provide commentary tracks.

I didn't know Jack Dodson died. :eek: When did that happen???
