For some reason I can't see James and George getting along. For one their personalities are completly different. And the money issue between the two could become a serious problem for James. IMO

Even though George had money, he still never forgot where came from so him and James would have gotten along fine.

George and Lousie were friends and neighbors of Archie and Edith Bunker whose cousin Maude employed Florida Evans whose husband was Henry(James) Evans. I love playing degrees of separation.

I thought he was very handsome, but he didnt have any personality; he wasnt hip..I just thought Thelma could do a lot better....

Keith was funnier that Penny to me. JMO. I have the UNCUT episode of "Write On Thelma", if you are still interested.

Bookman did make a guest appearance on the Jeffersons in 83 or after. I know it was in the last two seasons of the Jeffersons

I like the idea of Thelma and Lionel (the first one) as a couple. That would actually have been a lot more interesting than the people they married on either show.;)
