I just always found it odd. Neither Ray or Debra has Blonde hair, but they have blonde kids.

Marie has blond hair.I think that's why.It's always about Marie anyway:lol:

also we dont know what Debra looked like as a child (or Ray for that matter) some people have different color hair when thier younger then they do now or Perhaps she colors her hair and blondes her natural color *smirks* who really knows *shrugs*

I always just assumed because Marie had blond hair.

It does seem strange to me. Lots of children are blonde as babies, but their hair darkens up.

For two people with brown hair to have three kids with blonde hair isn't the best casting I've seen.

I have to say that my Aunt had three blonde children and her hair and her husband's hair was brown.

Also, my daughter's hair is dirty blonde even though my wife's and mine hair are brown. Of course she is only two, so that could change. :)

It would be very unlikely for an Italian like Raymond to have any completely blonde children I would think though. In fact, if he is 100% Italian, it would make it nearly impossible if you listen to the laws of genetics.

I just think it was people casting the show who were not thinking about genetics. Besides, everybody thinks blonde kids are cute anyway.
