Let's each say a tribute to Jon Peter Lewis to remember him as our American Idol.

I'll start.

He was a very strong man. He always had a good attitude about everything. He was a very good singer, and dancer. He was the cutest man I've ever seen in my life, and every day he was in my mind. I loved him very much...and I still do. I am extremly sad he left tonight...he left American Idol tonight, but not my heart.

He sings better than Willian Hung.

He was great, not the strongest vocalist but I really believe he had the whole package. He still does. I know that he has God on his side, and I'm sure he knows that this is all part of some better plan. Jon's life has big things in store for him, I'm sure. I will miss him, and the show won't be quite the same now.

But now American Idol will be kind of boring without him IMO.

I will TRY to still watch American Idol, but it will NOT be easy one little bit.
I probably won't vote again because it'll just make me think of him.

I am very sad about losing JPL as our American Idol.

Yeah, he's the only one who made American Idol exciting, IMO because of his GREAT voice and cool dance moves, and his nice personality and everything.
Now American Idol is ruined.

I wouldn't say that much but he will be missed.

But anyways- my tribute

-I will miss JPL's passion for singing, and the fact that he didnt take himself too seriously. He was also very fun too watch in the group songs, and on the stage by himself. He wasn't gonna win this, but he did not deserve to go this early.

Even though he got out, he is still a winner because he made it this far. He isn't the number one winner though.
