I really Hate the whole "baby switching" storyline on All My Children with Bianca's baby Miranda and Babe's baby! I'm waiting for this whole story to be over soon before the babies start to say "Mama"! :(

Looks like this storyline will drag out for awhile! I bet they'll wait until X-Mas for Bianca & Babe will finally be reunited with their babies, but WISH they will end this just on time for Mother's Day!:rolleyes:

I think its one of the more intresting stories that AMC has produced for sometime. I doubt it will be over anytime soon. for it to be affective they need time for Babe and JR to bond with "Bess"/Miranda, For OLTLS Kelly to bond w/Ace/Babes baby and for the truth to be found out and revealed. I give it until at least next April (2005).

I like it. I think it has given us some very good performances for all who are involved (except Young) and I think it has some good moments in it. Can anyone fill me on as to what is going on with the baby's? I have been not able to watch for a week know. Did Bianca find out that Bess is really her baby yet?

It hasn't been revealed yet that Babe's baby Bess is actually Bianca's baby Miranda because they did a 2nd dna test, and Babe's mom Krystelle switches the dna tests so that it is believed that Babe is the mom and not Bianca. I don't know why she did this sick thing but hope they resolve this story line very soon! :(

I hope they do also. I did see the part today where Crystal was at the "plan crash site" but then had to leave. So didn't know much else. Really how would she feel if the tables were turned and this was happening to Babe? They need to fix it. I don't watch OLTL and not sure if anyone knows that it's Babe's little boy. Paul, the guy who helped deliever the babies has Babe's baby boy and gave it to his sister in ONE LIVE TO LIVE, and Tad will appear on One Life to Live to investigate on Paul! My theory is that Paul maybe the biological father of Babe's boy, and in away he wants to be near his son, and at the same time try to help his sister, who just had a miscarriage or something! I hope this storyline ends soon because Bianca definitely deserves some happiness in her life!:(

It's also pretty creepy that Babe, has been breast feeding Bianca's baby. I can't believe that there was no mention of the baby rejecting the milk. :mad: :crazy:

Yes, that is true but Bianca I think only feed her baby once or twice and I am thinking since Babe was out of it they had to bottle feed her and then given to Babe. I don't think the baby knew. I am hopeing this week the truth comes out!

Eventually, wouldn't "Bess" will later start to look more like her real mother Bianca, since Bianca as black hair, brown eyes, and both Babe and J.R. are blonde with blue eyes. I really want to see Erica take one look at "Bess" and say "That's my granddaughter Miranda!" :)

I have been watching AMC since January of this year. I am not tired of the baby plot but am tired of Kendall pleading with Ryan to take her back. I was so glad Greenlee married Ryan and Kendal was left out in the rain. Kendall needs to be with her sister for rough times are coming for Bianca. I still haven't figured out how in the devil Crystal was able to switch the blood test results. The show is fasinating. Good plots and good actors playing their parts. Greenlee's mother is pushy no holds bar woman. Gosh she treated Bianca and Maggie poorly when Bianca held Bess. I hope Greenlee got her personality from her father. Her father is Jackson??

I would just tell Bianca and pray she understands.I give the baby to Bianca . Knowing what you know about Jrs plan I don't what or when I would tell him. On the other hand Crystal made many points that lead to the past. Erica's thoughts, rapists baby, if Bianca has Bess shes a single mother, the Chandlers have better resources. But then again to another plot would the giving back the baby make some of Ryans and Greenlees plan obsolete??

I seen AMC today and was yelling for Babe to tell she had both right there. I hope Kendell tells everyone. I think once Erica sees the baby she will love it. Being a mom I would be able to forgive and just love my baby but, if I were to find out later in life I would never forgive. You miss out on to much. I really think deep down Babe thinks Bianca knows. Did you see the preview of tomorrows show? What or who has Babe murdered? Or are they going to say she had something with Marainda?

I wonder if the wedding will take place. It has been 2 days now and I keep seeing Babe in her nightgown. JR and Bianca have been dressed for hours. One thing I noticed is, does anyone knock before entering a room? Every one just pops in on anyone. Reggie's friend Daneile is trouble. Erica flew off the handle with Roberto. I felt sorry for him. Aidan has stretched the truth too much. I wanted Anita to see Bobby.

I tend to think she hasn't done anything to harm Paul. Although Babe did say she had a way to straighten out her dilemma. I have seen a few snippets of One Life to Live where Babe's baby is. I know the child is named Ace Buchanen. So the plot will go on. I just wish it would speed up a little. So as I say, when will Babe get out her nightgown. Kelly Cramer and her Husband Kevin Buchanan have Babe's baby right now. What happened is that Paul, her brother kidnapped Babe's baby and switched it w/Bianca's. Kelly just learned within the last few weeks how Paul got her baby. She feels really bad, but she can't give the baby back because her husban thinks its her baby and has no idea of anything that has happened. She got the baby to save her marriage from total collapse.

This has gone on for two months now. It is time to put it to a close. It seems as though Binx has gone through more than Babe has. Gradually more and more people are discovering that this baby is alive. What a week. Bianca could possibly find out that she was right all along and Valene Ewing will get her twins back on Knots Landing this Thursday.

I didn't think it was going to happen and thought that this would drag on for another week. Anyway the recaps are...

The only thing with Tad is that he does not know that the results were switched. But I did want to say "Shut Up Thaddeus!" It was so annoying. I did not expect her to say anything. I really didn't because they had been pulling the wool over my eyes for so long making me think that something was about to happen and it really didn't. LOL. I was almost ready to write a letter to the ABC office on 66th st in New York.

Remember that is what she asked Bianca at the hospital when Bianca returned the little baby back to JR and Bess. Not to put rain on the parade but these writers have been putting us through a ringer to we'd better be ready for a false alarm. Kendall says something to the effect of, "you've hurt a lot of people. Remember where you are standing because the sky is gonna fall!" The sky falls in the place where someone is standing because they could be lying at that very place.

I hope this does not occur today. I pray that it is a clean confession and MIRANDA goes home with her rightful mother. Today's spoiler says "Babe tells Krystle why she could not tell the truth about Miranda" That could be meant one of two ways: She could not tell the truth in the past or she could not tell the truth because of something else. With soapnet promos and ABC sneak peaks into the next eps, they have pulled the wool over our eyes the viewers. If it happens, I may watch the show a little less because I don't want to let this show play with my emotions to the point that the storylines bother me throughout the day. So anyways I hope this is NOT the case. If it is so, just say that you have been warned.

Babe lied to Bianca and the wedding party. Kendall was the only one who got up and accused Babe of lying. Krystle had an anxiety attack. I woke up this morning and saw the preview for this afternoon's ep again and thought, "that girl could twist this thing around" and she did. I have lost a little respect for the writters of this program. Do you know how many recycled twists and turns this plot had taken? Soaps are interesting, but tend to play on people's emotions a little too much like with this baby thing. Everything we saw within the last week was just to tease the audience. I'll check back next week or better yet, just read the spoliers and find out whose going to give a moving, cliched speech that is full of bull.

I was able to watch the last 15 minutes and that was enough for me. I feel bad for Kendall because once again the fingers were pointed at her this time for "ruining" the wedding! boo! I also don't like Ryan! Talk about self-righteous! Going off on Kendall that she should apologise to Babe, blah blah! Kendall should just let Greenlee have him & find someone new! :mad:

I also feel that J.R. is starting to act like a mini-Adam, like when during the middle of the wedding vows, and made that solemn vow in protecting his daughter, was his way of saying "no one will touch her". Poor kid.:(

Between Kendal wanting Ryan and Babe delaying telling that the baby is Bianca's, I am worn out. Ryan should just stay away from Kendall and look as least like he married to Greenlee. I thought today that Crystal was going to spill the beans with her anxiety attack spell. I wonder if David will eventually take the cotton swab to get tested. Only thing that would speed the whole thing up would be for Jr to tell everyone of his plans.

I think Kendall should just move on and forget Ryan. Kendall should have secretly cut a piece of "Bess's" hair for dna testing, and I hope Krstelle serves jail time when everything blows over.:o

I liked Kendall since she was first played by SMG, and the current actress playing her has really made the character into her own! I think Kendall hiding in the trunk was really funny and was classic Kendall! Greenlee is no angel either and I'm not liking Greenlee lately anyways. I liked Greenlee better when she was with Juan Pablo.

I've only been watching since January of this year so I really don't know backgrounds of characters. Prior to then I never watched a daytime soap. All I knew that Susan Lucci was one of the longest daytime actresses. Maybe knowing the characters, you get a better handle on them.

Someone help I have not watched since Babe told everyone that Binks was the really mama and it turned out not to be what she ment.

Lately Crystal has had spells, mumbling Miranda's name. Tad comes to her rescue. David Hayward has thoughts of using the cotton swab to verifiy the baby's mother. Also Ryan has flown to seee Erika. She called him to help her and Kendal tags along. Greenlee knows that Kendal hid in the trunk and has knowledge of the Lavery wedding agreement. Oh Babe's father has supposly popped into the picture by way of Liza. As of now Babe and her mother are certain Bess is Miranda. No one else is certain of that fact.

I have already so sick of this! I tell you this if by Friday (2more days) Binx don't know that Babe's baby is really hers I am done watching this show. I am only watching right now for that.

As of 6-24 Crystal is thinking of leaving town. She feels she has been boxed in with her lies. I do hope that David isn't Babe's dad. I think that plot is foolish. All that does is prolong the don't tell the mother plot. Hasn't Jr gotta edgy lately? I saw snippet somewhere that the Marcy Walker (Liza) is leaving. I don't know if the character is leaving but Marcy may. I thought her character has SPunk.

I am tiring of Kendall tugging at Ryan to take her back. I heard on Aug 24th episode that Bobby tried to seduce Greenlee. He couldnt go through with it and revealed to Greenlee what Kendall wanted him to do. The two of them Bobby and Greenlee plan to put Kendall in the Toaster. I can't wait til that scene happens. I was surprised that Greenlee wasn't really steamed when she was told of Kendalls plan.
The Zack/Maria plot is dull. Goes nowhere. I do hope Maria goes back to Edmund and Edmund follows up on his mysterious phone call.
So to recap the Maria/Zack plot and the Kendal haunting Ryan plot are getting tiring. I am glad the Bobby revealed Kendall's plan. For a while there I thought he was a creep. I do hope he helps Greenlee push Kendal away from Ryan.

I can tolerate the baby swap plot. I do wonder if the hospital will asked about how Jamie left. I heard the baby swap will end in early Sept. Now I wonder who will have custody of the little boy that Babe delivered. Now that that marriage is falling apart. I am not that certain who the real father is. It is so mixed up I am confused.

The last I heard, Babe was asking Paul Kramer if the dna test showing that the baby was J.R.'s was for real or if he had faked the results, and he refused to tell her, so even Babe isn't sure who the father is.

I can't wait for Kendall to get toasted either or for J.R. to get his comeuppance.

Yesterday was the first time I have watched in a long time and it starts out with Binxs and Babe in bed and my mouth dropped. I am glad they didn't take it there for real. I am wondering how Binxs will act when she finds out Bess is hers?

I have a love-hate relationship with it. I hate parts of it, but I can't stop watching; I have to find out what happens. And there are some scenes and dialogue that are really hilarious.

I bet Dixie is rolling over in her grave seeing how her only son is turning out to be just like the CREEP Adam. I hope that JR and Adam get it good.

He is only been on the show a month now but I am getting tired of Jonathan. He seems a little pushy. He seemed to rub Ethan the wrong way. If Ethan is a fake, I sort of hope he isn't, let someone other than Jonathan find out.

This certainly will shake up Kendall and maybe give her the impression that she has gone over the edge at getting back Ryan. It also puts Ryan on hold at figuring out who Zac really is. NOw Aidan and Edmund must take over where Ryan left off. I think for awhile, Maria will remain quiet about her knowing who Zac is.

Yeah, I wonder who it was that Edmund was supposed to meet concerning that. Usually when somebody wants to meet with someone somewhere to give them information, it's a setup. I hope that's not the case here.

The Jonathan and Maggie as a couple is dull and Ryan and Greenlee need to do something out of the bedroom. Watching them fondle each other is tiresome. It's funny how they call Paul "scum" for switching the babies in the first place, but they are even worse! Krystal for switching the dna & Babe for keeping Miranda from Bianca for months after knowing the truth! My feelings exactly, although I think Paul is scummy too. But they are just as bad. I hope Bianca knocks Babe's block off (so to speak) when she finds out. Now that Kendall has gone back to being human, the only worse ones are Adam and Jr. and whoever tried to kill Ryan.

The way I see this show is just about everyone keeps secrets. Maria has known Zach's secrets for weeks, the baby switch has gone on so long and no one other than the original people know anything about it. In truth I can't find a good clean person in the show. They are all Skunks, I do wish these daytime soaps would move along a little faster.

Greenlee mentioned to Ethan that Zack is Alex Cambias Jr. Now Ethan is looking for answers. Maybe now the show will move faster. OH I read in tvguide Paul Cramer is going to be murdered. I hope they get info on this whole switch business before he breathes his last breath.

Sominex, that's a good one. That's why I usually just tape it and then search for a scene that looks like something happening. They should have people guess how many dramatic-buildups-to-startling-revelations they have had that turned out to be big fat nothings--about like beans in a jar--how tiresome.

I tape the show, mainly for I can watch it without waiting 3 minutes for each commercial. I saw a show live night last night , The Biggest Loser and I think I waited 5 minutes between breaks. What was advertised was nothing I would want. These vcrs are great.

I missed a bit on the days of Nov 2, election day and the day of Nov 3th. I live in Kerry country and my tv station prempted much to show to show Kerry voting and and the next day telling his supporters how great they have done. Gee I wonder if half of it was blocked out in texas?? I was all set to see the two days and half it was news coverage. I voted for the other guy.

A good bit of it was preempted in Minnesota too. I took it that it was nationwide.

I sat down to see november15th episode and with in a few seconds a News Bulletin. I thought an important news event was to come. Instead of something important, I had to hear that Colin Powell is to resign. I do wish the news like that could wait till the evening news. I noticed only AMc was blocked out. So ZAC is trying to kill Ryan. I think Maria's marriage is over. I don't blame Edmund for she hung out with Zac too much. Poor Greenlee imaging that Kendall shot Ryan. Greenlee ran the car into Kendall. How is Erica going to get her office building? I wonder why Babe and Jamie doddled so much in the hotel room. I would have left early in the morning after both got a good night sleep. I wonder if Jamie lost the money when he bought the baby crib and food. He must of had some money for that. I really hate this turn of events with Greenlee driving over Kendall. I don't know if I want to keep watching. Maybe just until Bianca gets her kid back.

I understand about the news thing. Hey, maybe it was part of the storyline and all of PV watched too. BTW, on One Life to Live, Kely Buchannan and David Vickers tracked down Krystal's information and number and are on the way to PV thinking that Krystal knows where the baby is. Friday's ep of OLTL, Krystal called Kelly anonomously and said that "Ace is ok" then hung up. Kelly recognized her voice and and name and used those elements to track her down. The thing that got me was Krystal having a voicemail message. She moved out of the Chandler's last month, so I guess she found another place really quick and got phone service.

I somewhat wished I had seen the plot regarding the baby switch on both shows. It would be interesting to see how the Buchanens are holding up.

For the petition, who's petition is it and when is the due date to sign it? Whoever did it when is it going to be sent to AMC? Who is going to get it on AMC?

I wonder if the baby switch mess will finish up by xmas. I think today Greenlee toddles on the building edge. Last thursday they showed highlights of that but instead I saw a repeat of Bianca and Babe in bed together and Jr ranted and raving.

Babe is telling Blanca about the switched babies. Babe at first thinks Babe is nuts but the discussion finally hits Bianca as Bianca recalled early conversations about the babies. Poor Tad tied to a bed. Jr and Jamie locked inside a warehouse talking about the past. Now the babyswitch is coming out, the next long story will probably be Greenlees condition.

I'm just afraid Bianca will have to fight JR for another year to get Miranda back, if she doesn't get killed going over the railing in that clip they showed. I hope they don't kill her off. I hope he didn't kill Jamie either. They showed him flat on the floor and Kendall asking JR, "What did you do?"

I'm glad that it is finally almost over!:lol: I blame all of this mess mainly on Babe! I LOVED that slap Bianca gave Babe!:clap Bianca should have slapped Krystle too for switching the DNA test!:mad:

Jaime survived, but to be honest, I don't blame JR's reaction since Jaimie had him locked up and taunting him about all this crap about him being the total bad guy and Babe, the "sweet innocent one"! :rolleyes: If not for Babe's lies, JR wouldn't have turned into this total wacko that we see today! Also Jaime needs a reality check about Babe! She & her "Mamma" are most to blame for all of this mess by keeping Miranda from Bianca all this time! Bianca said it right when she said that the only reasons why she told Bianca the truth is because she got her own baby back! :wave:

I agree with everything you say. It was both cruel and criminal for Babe to keep Miranda. She wasn't even going to make it right until she found out JR didn't love her; she promised that when she found that out, then she would, but she didn't. She had to get her own baby first. She, Crystal, and David should all be in the slammer, and Kelly should get Ace. She at least wants to do the right thing. I was disappointed in Jamie for the way he handled things, especially k.o.ing his dad, but I didn't want him to get killed. And JR is still a bigger rat, not only for almost killing him, among other things, but for telling the others that Bianca was "crazed and out of control because of Babe's lies, etc." Even Tad took long enough to out with the truth. He should have told Bianca right away, even though she told him not to. Now it looks like JR might abscond with the baby because of what he said over the phone. Once this mess is over with, I'm off soap operas for life. Those writers are sadists.

Did Bianca wake up yet? Doe JR know that Erica know that the baby is her granddaughter? I have been missing this week a lot. I also agree once this is over I am done. It's just been WAY to long.
But in a way it kind of is humorous in a way because Erica stole Maria's baby and did the same thing Babe did to her. So Erica has no room to talk about people that lie. But JMO

Gee this sure turned. I was thinking Greenlee would be lingering in bed and it's now gone to Bianca lingering. I wouldn;t have move Bianca from Florida. Bad move Erica. It seems Bianca is worst than before. Deep coma. I liked David at first but now since he's chums with Kristal, he's a skunk too. It is such a mess. I think David, Kristal and Babe should move on. Poor Jamie stuck in the mess. I do wonder if Kendal will marry Ethan. I still think Jonathan has poisoned Greenlee.

As of today, Bianca hasn't woke up yet and JR doesn't know that Erica knows about the baby, but Adam does. He just won't accept it so far. And JR came in at the end when they were talking and asked what it was about, so we'll see whether he finds out Monday. It looks like Kelly might make a liar out of me. She had been wanting to give Ace back to his mother, but now she acts like she may try and get him back for herself.

I was wondering has Kelly done anything really wrong? I don't watch oltl. One way to make Krytal, Babe and David get their hides hit is to have Kelly take the baby. Although who is the father of the baby. One episode gave the impression it's Jr's but is it? I don't think it is right to have Babe and company get away with the kidnapping. If Kelly gets the baby Jamie will be stung and his father will be right by saying what he has done is wrong all along. .

The only thing Kelly did wrong was adopting a baby outside of the legal process and deceiving her husband about where he came from. She didn't know she was taking a child fom someone who wanted him until just before Paul was killed,when he finally told her the truth. Then she wanted to find the mother and return him. Now it sounds like she's going to want to keep him after all. But since I'd like to see Babe, Crystal (Krystal?) and David go to jail, that would still leave Kelly as the most worthy candidate to get the baby. Adam and JR are a bad influence and should really be in jail too for their attempted framings. And Kevin was mixed up with that gangster Tico, unwittingly, but he didn't seem to have that much regard for honesty in politics, and he didn't want to find the real mother either when he found out the truth. But I just remembered another thing Kelly did wrong. When she thought she had killed Paul, she had Todd help her dump his body instead of calling an ambulance in case he was still alive, which he was. Maybe the courts should take the kid and find somebody else to adopt him.

Thanks Mister Bluster for the update. I don't think Kendall drugged Greenlee. It is probably Zach, but my suspictions go to Jonathan. Although he has been living with Maggie. HMM.But at first he lived with Ryan and Greenlee. I wonder how long Bianca will be in the coma? What do you know about the 35th anniversay party for the show. When is it on. same time as show?

I'm afraid I don't know about the anniversary show. I think it's probably Jonathan who drugged Greenlee too. I'm sure it's not Kendall. Kelly finally let Babe and Jamie go with the baby, and Adam has agreed to do a dna test behind JR's back, but he's still being grouchy and threatening to call it off. That Jonathan is showing himself to be an all-around creep, even trying to keep Maggie away from everybody else.

Poor Bianca. Her health doesn't look good. Jr sneaking off and not helping Bianca. I thought the scenes shown on 12-24 went on a bit too long. Kendalls church scenes, and the friends praying in the chapel. First time I zipped by sections. I read somewhere that Eden has signed an another years contract so I her character will live. If I hadn't read that I may have wonder if indeed she would pass on. I am glad Greenlee has recovered.

I really feel for Jr in a way. He is also a victim in this whole mess.
I see Binks woke up like nothing ever happen. I hope if I was going to die soon I woke up and looked like her. But the power of children can be stong!

I thought Monday Dec 27 ep was so corny. Erica pleading with Bianca to wake up. "Miranda is here, you must wake up". I was hoping Maria would step in and say this is enough. Or Maria would at least stood near the monitors to see if any change was seen in the brain. Just a short earlier Maria was to put Bianca on life support. Then when bianca did come to, no skull damage, or brain damage. The way Bianca plunged off that bacony she would have more severe damage. So corny. I would have prefer to see a slight change when Erica pleaded. Say show her finger move, But to come out the coma this way was so foolish. For once I felt a bit sorry for JR. I do hope Maggie drops Jonathan. I agree with Reggie she could do better.

:happyface I am so happy that Binks got her baby back and is happy now! I hope they have a good story line for her and the baby. Maggie needs to lose the guy.

Gee it was the first time I complained. It will be my last. The episodes lately have been so well done. wonderful. I am so pleased with the writers.

Thank You so much for calling that out because it is the truth. Of course everyone does have their own opinions. However, it was the ep that resolved the baby storyline. I loved it and agree that we should be grateful that the writers finally gave us the viewers what we wanted,

I watched Wednesday's episode of AMC last night on SoapNet and here's what happened:

Kevin got Ace/James back in his custody, while Babe, Tad, and Jamie were all arrested. Over at Babe's cell, she is told off by Erica about lying to Bianca about Miranda all those months, then JR drops by to offer her a lighter prison term in exchange for submitting a DNA sample proving that Ace/James is their son.

Meanwhile, Daniel Colson, the DA on OLTL, tells David he'll go easy on Babe if she'll testify that Jamie planned the kidnapping scheme - David then implicates Jamie in Paul's murder.

In the preview for today's episode, they showed a brief clip of Bo questioning Jamie about Paul's death.
