As Dave Van Deusen has told you, the taping was spectacular.

Everyone slid (or tripped) right back into their characters...the body language, the words (yes, a few 'Ohhhh Robbbb's), and the love filled the CBS Radford stages.

Jerry Van Dyke provided constant hysterical humor and all the ladies are lovely and elegant! especially our Mary.

Carl is putting finishing touches on the show now and if we get a sneak preview we'll reveal whatever Mr. Reiner allows. But it will be GREAT FUN, and make you laugh and cry all at the same time (so be careful what you're eating when you watch)

We took pictures on the set (yes, it IS in color!) but I don't want to post those without Carl's permission. Don't want to spoil the suprise. Maybe a contest...who can guess what color the ottoman really is???!!

Many scripts were signed...dad was great and got me one which I will treasure forever...perhaps post it on the site soon.

So 'check your local listings' for the time in your area. We'll post more info on our site as we get it.

Doug, I am really getting excited about this show. Everything I've heard about it is so positive! May 11 can't come fast enough for me!

Thanks so much for that update concerning the language used in the special and Carl's awareness of it. That makes me feel 100% better about that aspect of the show.
