View Full Version : Losing weight (again) and exercise
Nanny Fine 04-13-2004, 12:53 AM Well I'm still on my weight loss journey. 70 pounds down with about 40 more to go. My broken foot is healed, the cast is gone and I'm exercising with gusto again. I do toning stuff at home (sit ups, V ups, etc) and I've been walking an average of about 9 miles a day. Today I walked 12. I'm so motivated and the walking makes me feel like I'm really doing something to help myself out.
This guy that I'm dating (I think we are dating!) is real hard into physical fitness, he does personal training - he's got a great body. He said when summer gets here and our schedules are more on time he's going to work some stuff out with me which is really cool. I've wanted for a long time to shape up and I've done so well :)
Who else is on the weight loss venture?
I never thought I'd make it this far, that I'd lose this much weight in the year. If I can do it so can anyone else :)
Georgia's on my Mind 04-13-2004, 12:56 AM congrats, sounds like everything is working out for you.
I am actually trying to gain weight, through muscle...this should be fun to try to attempt.
dawsongirl 04-13-2004, 01:07 AM I want to lose my hips and butt. Our new house has a cemetary close to it, so I think my mom and I are going to use that as our walking course.
And I bet someone is going, Cemetary?? Spooky!

*MIBabe03* 04-13-2004, 11:07 AM I'm trying to lose weight. Right now, I'm doing Weight Watchers, and it's helping me out a lot! I just got two of my friends to join, so hopefully it will start coming off faster.
consentida 04-13-2004, 11:16 AM I'm trying to lose weight too. Well, okay....I'm not trying yet. But starting next week I'm gonna start by drinking lots of water to flush everything out. Then changing my eating habits and starting an exercise routine. I need to lose 50 pounds by the end of this year or by early next year. I once lost 40 pounds in less than a year by doing the same thing, so hopefully this'll work again...
Swimfan85 04-13-2004, 05:03 PM since I do sports regularly (doing track and hockey right now) I am in pretty good shape, I am working on toning and gaining more muscles

i will never be fat. i always eat ice cream and candy for lunch all the time and i'm as skinny as i always was.
Michael [hXc] 04-13-2004, 06:55 PM I always eat candy. Unhealthful, I know, but the temptation of candy is way too strong.

My brother is like that. He eats and eats and eats and he never gains weight. Its weird though, he's the only one like that in my family.
