Joyce or Suzanne I feel would have been a lot better in my opinion than that Ms. Sagal. I just personally feel that Joyce has much better comic timing and much better chemistry with John! And who wouldn't want to see "Jack & Janet" or "Jack & Chrissy" married with kids!!!:D

Okay to get a picture by your name , click on user cp next to the Threes Company picture at the top , then click Edit Options , then scroll to the bottom and click Change Avatar. There , you can pick a picture from that list or save your own picture and put that as your avatar. Your avatar has to be .jpg and a decent size. If you need any more help , just let me know!
For your topic question , I think Katey Sagal is perfect for the part as Cate. Of course , it wouldve been great to see Joyce or Suzanne working with John again , but right now its Katey Sagal.

I could definately see Suzanne as a mom just because she was on Step by Step and she was the mom. Joyce not so much.

yes welcome to the board! and you give great instructions trippergrl lol. ur such a pro;) lol. and i would have LOVED to see joyce play his wife on the show! but ya i think katey segal is doing a great job. but its always nice to see little tc reunions and to see them working together again!

HEY JJ! WELCOME TO THE MBS:)!!!!I never watch the show! So I really don't know how that lady's chem w/John was but I am guessing great b/c of the replies and b/c if she made the part!!!:D!!!! But I would of loved to seen JJ together again! Mostly if they were married and w/Kids! Joyce looks like she enjoys kids alot so I bet she would of done a great Job as a mom! SS I don't know I see her and the 1st thing that I think of is Silly Chrissy! So I really can't pix her! :D !!!!!!!

I totally agree with you on either Joyce or Suzanne should have played the mom on 8sr. Personally i prefer Joyce. She has a great onscreen (& offscreen) chemistry with John. Besides she is great with kids.

I totally disagree. I think John and Katey were sooo cute together and Katey made a great mom. Now if we were thinking couple-wise, back in the 70s, I would've said Jack and Janet but recently as they got older, Paul and Kate definitly looked cute together.

Out of all his leading ladies, John & Joyce were the Cutiest & had the best chemistry!!!
