Hey i got an email from TVland and they said "the FOL will NOT be coming to tvland, nor will it ever." Thats all they said, and they said that if N@N does start to air it at 4:30, they will most likely only have the show for a couple more months,just like they did with happy days.

Well I will set the timer and tape the eps I don't have. It was nice to see Diff'rent Strokes and FOL back to back.

I never thought TVL would pick up FOL. TVL is for the 'classics' and it only airs 80s dramas.

NOOOOOO!!! Only a few more months?!?!? I hope Nick At Nite decides to show the controversial episodes...and I really hope some other station would pick it up...:::fingers crossed::: maybe lifetime will...I mean, the four girls ARE "women" (have to clam down)

The initial scheduling means nothing, really. Given the type of station this is, the initial schedule is really a make or break period. The show is either going off the air or it's not after it's initial little run on Nick-at-Nite. If it can pull in good enough ratings at it's time slot they may upgrade it. If it gets mediocre ratings, they'll renew it in the same timeslot. It may not be a big number of people, but if anyone out there is one of the Neilson families, WATCH FOL! LOL It's just that, the network had to make a decision based on their demographics, previous ratings, and the demographics that were watching during it's previous runs on the networks. I have no idea what their ratings or demographics for it's previous run on the network was, though, so I won't begin to speculate on that.

I e-mailed Lifetime a few months ago!!! I forgot to mention that. They of course answered my email like they always do..."Thank you for your suggestion we will keep it in mind" and yada yada yada...*mumbles* stupid people...
