In an episode that I am watching now on N@N (a 9th season episode) Roseanne is feeding Jerry and talking about some things that have been going on and then she says "It's almost like some crazy lady has made it all up!" and then in the finale, we find out that is just what happend! lol.

I noticed that the last time I saw the ep on TBS last summer. There are subtle clues abuot what is going on all throughout the last season.
If you look at it, seasons 1-8 are about Roseanne the actress before she became famous, while season nine is about her life after fame.
Winning the lottery is getting her own tv show. Fighting the terrorists is about her battles to redefine what a woman could be on tv. There was the wrestling episode (which was her and Tom wrestling), the tabloid episode (self explanitory), ect, ect.
Watching the 9th season with this in mind makes it alot more interesting and have alot more value.

Oooh, I never thought about it that way before. You're right though, it does seem that way. Not everything from the 9th season seems like it would be a part of that interpretation but a lot of it does.

It's especially interesting because during the season premiere Roseanne bills herself as Roseanne Barr Pentland Arnold Thomas, as if to say that this season is about her.
