Unfortunately, It says this at the end of that article:
UPDATE: Apparently this date was moved and we don't know any new date. We'll post news as soon as we hear anything.

If ILL is selling well on DVD, then what's taking it so long?

i just got word that it will be late fall before it comes out, probably in time for Thanksgiving, more than a year after the first season is completed.

Closer to Christmas time. that means better sales. Or so they think, us Lucy fans would fork out the money any time of the year!:D

Heavy Sigh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1      :( :(

This sucks!!! I want to watch season two now!!! What is the problem? At this rate it will be a new decade before we finish collecting the series on dvd. Maybe even longer. Every two years ia little too long! I am really mad about this one!

They can release shows like Sex and the City as quickly as they're produced, yet we have to wait for this.

Let's see who makes it to the end first...ILL or the Simpsons.

Late fall? Wow, that sucks. I heard it was only getting delayed a few weeks.

Screenwriter, it's not a huge tragedy! As much as I want the DVDs ASAP, the more we anticipate them, the more excited we'll be when they actually are released. :)

You took the words right out of my mouth. Someone needs to find whoever is in charge of these dvds and tell them that if they don't release all of seasons 2-6 by the end of the year there will be hell to pay!

the good news is that when, or if, I should say, the second season is released, the packaging will be a bit more acceptable than the first season's. It will be a set of five discs with six to seven episodes on each disc, rather than simply four. This probably means that the prices will sink from $100 (first season's price) to about $40-$50 which is great news! Thanks to Tvshowsondvd.com for supplying the information.

What do you plan on doing, savy333? Do you expect all of us to rise as one and slay them? What kind of hell were you hoping they'd be paying?

I wouldn't be opposed to a method of torture. I want these dvds out now, it is not acceptable that we have to wait over a year in between dvd releases. I actually can't beleive I am the only one making a big deal about this. What is the point in waiting? So that we are all dead? :eyes2:

All I know is they better be adding one hell of a special feature if they're going to be releasing this in the Fall.

I am sure that they are doing the best that they can. They probably also want to come up eith some terrific bonus footage including old commercials used to promote the show back in the 1950s. These things take time to find! Also, please remember that I Love Lucy is a half a century old. These shows will have collected much more debris and will therefore take much longer to restore than the Dick Van Dyke Show (a new set released every other month) produced a decade later.

But, you see, these dvds have already been created for some time now. Columbia house (which is the exact same product with different packaging) has released all of season two in their club. But since they are more expensive and a hassle, since it is a club and you can't get the dvds when you want, I am not participating. But, since they are ready, I see no reason in pushing the release back.
