jack and chrissy? So why wouldn't he have had chemistry with Terri or Chrissy? Just curious?

Because Jack & Janet have been through so much together.Plus in "Hair Today,Gone Tomorrow",Jack told Terri that she would be making a terrible mistake if they got together because they weren't right for each other

Plus , in the later seasons , it seemed like Jack got exasperated with Chrissy more. Like , he still loved her , but he sometimes got exasperated with her .

Because they stuck together till the end. They cared about each other. They were always there for each other when something was wrong. They flirted way too much. They knew each other so well and it just sounds and looks cute!......JACK AND JANET!:D!!!!

I don't think Chrissy and Jack made a cute couple at all. Besides like he got frustrated w/her.

Jack and Cindy......NO! Poor Jack! Besides he never acted flirty w/her like he did w/the other girls. (Janet, Terri or Chrissy) If Jack saw anyone as a sister I think it was Cindy!

He and Janet would've made a much better couple I think, for the very reasons the others have already stated. And they really did look cute together, not to mention all that flirting. ;)

Because JACK & JANET were Made 4 eachother. They were perfect together. I think Jack loved all his room mates but Janet was special to him.

Chrissy was ok but Jack kinda got irritated with her sometimes.
Cindy was a total NO NO.
Terri...no. Basically they didn't have the chemistry.

But JACK & JANET.......were perfect right from the start. Besides they have gone through so much together. AND they have a very special connection....which they share with no one else.

I'm not a big fan of Jack and Janet. I always thought they were more brother and sister like John said in an interview with ET. I do however recall Janet flirting with Jack many times. But Jack, Jack flirted with all the women. I'm sorry I just don't see why Jack and Janet are meant for eachother. I mean sure they stuck together for 8 years, but can't they do that being brother and sister or bestfriends? Its possible for a woman to have a man thats a bestfriend. Why couldn't they be that? In my opinion I don't think they showed real chemistry. I don't agree with the Vicky thing either. If they really wanted Jack to settle down with someone, they should have had the woman guest star more than 3 times and let the audience get to know her better. Thats one of the reasons why TAC didn't last but one season.

maybe so but i still dont see how jack and terri would have made a better couple.

My 2 cents on this:

Jack and Janet - they were good friends, like someone stated, more like brother and sister but they had a special connection that went beyond this kind of 'friendship' - just look at all the wonderful, scenes they gave us on TC..so yes, I would have loved to see Jack and Janet together, not necessarily as married couple but with a nice romantic scene..Jack and Janet rushing into marriages with people they'd hardly known, was wrong imho..

Jack and Chrissy - no. They were good friends, but as time went by Chrissy became more 'goofy' and she just wasn't right for Jack

Jack and Cindy - oh god, no! I agree with whoever said he'd end up in hospital.. with more broken bones then he'd count...

Jack and Terri - they were good together, too..but something was just missing, there was no 'magic', no real chemistry between them...not the kind of chemistry you could see with Jack and Janet

As for all his other dates, most of them were just plain boring, sexy women no-one would want to get involved with..especially Jack...Yes, he was the kind of guy who always dated sexy women but deep down I think he (and you can see that in Vicky..) loved wisdom, heart and character more than super looks.

Jack developed a brother/sister relationship with Janet because of living with her for 8 years without any sexual contact that had to do with love. Jack hadn't developed that with Terri yet because she had only been there for 3 years. So Jack and Terri would have been better in my opinion.

Personally , I see Jack and Terri as just friends , but thats me.

I so agree w/u JH!:D!!! Those producers were more concern w/their one season show then with given this wonderful cast a good ending. Janet's personality and Philip never had anything in common. Just like Jack and Vicky!

The writers ruined Janet.If they were going to have Jack move out of the aprtment,they should've had the gang throw Jack a fairwell party just like Janet & Chrissy did for Eleanor,and at the end of the scene have everybody leave.Then the girls go into the bathroom,and find a relative of Jack's in the bathtub.I think you know where I'm going.Then after Three's A Crowd ended,have another spinoff called Three's Company Too(which they changed Three's A Crowd to later) showing how everything is going without Jack

But the thing is we all have to face reallity. JAck and Janet won't ever be together and nor will Jack and Terri. The producers wanted who they wanted together and I guess thats all that matters. :rolleyes:

Personally, i think JACK & JANET made a great couple. The chemistry between them was so beautiful.

They were the best of friends ofcourse.......& its true that it developed during the entire 8 yrs that they lived together. BUT if you guys have noticed, Jack & Janet had this beautiful connection right from the very beginning... when Chrissy was living with them. Jack loved both his roomates but Chrissy was really getting on his nerves sometimes. Jack mostly treated her as his younger sister.
Cindy was........well........NO WAY.
Terri & Jack were very funny together. But in my opinion they just lacked the chemistry.

Janet probably did not flirt a lot..(well in the words of most characters from the show she was kinda Decent....Old Fashioned....Reliable....LOL, i could go on). What i mean is she wasnt the type who would flirt with Any1. BUT...there are some episodes where she is kinda fooling around with Jack.

If you saw "The Bird Song", in one scene Jack is trying to get Janet to give him the Frank Sinatra concert tickets, he acts like a sad little puppy begging for them. He actually goes on to lick Janet's cheek & neck and she doesn't back away but infact kinda encourages him.

Then in "Jack looks for a job", the scene where Jack is trying to practice selling encyclopedias. .........well you all know JANET WAS FLIRTING with him.......kissing him, nibbling & blowing in his ear.
Well i'm sure there are many more like Mate for eachother etc etc etc.......but i just dont have the time to mention all.

ok so in this scene Jack comes home with a new job....salesman. his job is to sell encyclopedias but he needs to practice on some1 & Janet just happens to be available. now there is a sales manule which gives step by step info on the selling tactics. (to b specific....info on how to deal with ANY kind of situation). Janet kinda gets flirty then. Since Jack tells her that the manule provides info on how to deal with any kind of situation, Janet makes up a perfect situation....i.e. she pretends that her husband has gone abroad or something (cant exactly remember that part) for several months. so she plays a lonely, sex deprived wife...eager to get it on with anyone. THATS when she starts kissing..nibbling & blowing in his ear. in short SHE IS FLIRTING WITH JACK.

LOL. this episode was soooo funny.

I watched that episode when they had the tribute for John.I can't wait for May 4th to see it again
