Is Sarah Chalke in this episode because everyone always talks about how that one scene where Mark and Roseanne talk about her and she's not even there but according to TV Tome she's in that episode. I saw this episode 3 years ago but I forget.

when i watched it, it didn't show her. the only thing about her was when roseanne talked about how he was married to his daughter, right after he said he couldn't find anything to be thankful for!

TV Tome is mistaken, because I distinctly remember her not being there at all. I remember thinking, where on Earth would she be while her husband is having Thanksgiving dinner with her entire family???

Yes, it was very strange that Becky wasn't there but her husband was. Did they even ever explain her absence (sp?) in that episode? Pretty stupid if you ask me.

Well this wasn't the first time, in the Gilligan's Island episode in season 7 Mark was there but where was Becky. Also isn't Mark in Springtime for David and Becky isn't? I think that's the only time they did an episode with Mark and leave out Lecy's Becky.

I also didn't like it that Mark was in "The War Room" and Becky wasn't. Didn't she care about what was going on with her mother at that time? Maybe she was with Dan, trying to console him? They never even explained where she was in a lot of episodes that she was missing from that her husband was in. It was just really annoying that they did that.

I know Lecy missed episodes in season 8 because of her college schedule, but what was up with Sarah only making 7 appearances in season 9, did she have a reason for it?

No, her absence was not explained. Becky, as played by Sarah Chalke, was not in this episode. She was not at the Conner home on Thanksgiving day.
