and I think I might have overdone it. I woke up the other day and My arms really hurt, I can't bend them all the way because they hurt so much. I'm just worried I did some permanent damage or something. I really hope it gets better...:(

You didn't overdo it. At all. Your muscles are probably in shock from being used :) They are just sore because you used parts of your arms that you've never used before. I walk between 6 and 8 miles a day. About 3 weeks ago I started doing toning stuff 0 sit ups, V ups, leg lifts, etc and for about 3 days I could barely function. I've been walking like a mad woman for a year now but I was using parts of my body I'm not used to. I can tell a slight difference already - things fit different. Of course this whole I might have a date thing is more motivation to keep this toning stuff up :) I'm raring to go.

Do not stop or give up! You have to keep it up or all the pain from now will be useless and if you decide to start again you'll have to go through it all over again. The rewards for this stuff is amazing!

the first time I did yoga/pilates, my EVERYTHING was sore for a couple of days. But then the more I did those exercises the more I got used to it.

Naw, you did no permanent damage. For the first time in my life, I tried the hip-sled a few months ago. The next day, I could't walk because of the intense pain. You'd be surprised at what can get sore after working out. You'll find out you have muscles in places you didn't know existed!
