that forum is SOOOOO uptight! there is a guy there that yells at me because i dont use punctuation and there's a guy there that yells at me because i made a quote "useless post" un-quote that said

"heh"

because i thought that something someone said was funny! what was i supposed to do?! Anyways i'm just lucky to have you guys who are sooo nice to me!!!! :D :bighug:

ugh i've been to forums like that, like www.absolutetrl.net/forums, they are so mean on there, they trash your opinions, they curse non-stop, grr they're so annoying!

I Know of a few mean ones mostly CSI related
the Jorja Fox one i use to belong to pretty much Hated me cause I'm not G/S like they all are (I'm more like N/S and G/C) and then the G/C site I belong to Hate me because I'm totally like Sara and they all hate her but Yeah I'm gonna have to agree some people are just rude *sighs*

..Some forums are just like that. You either deal with it, or move on.

I went through various forums before registering at SO,
Some of them were trashy,mean,I didn't care for them.
So I registered here at SO,I love sitcoms,old and new.
And everyone is so friendly here.We need to keep it that way!:)

I've seen other boards like that. They warn you if you use improper English, incorrect punctuation, one word posts, "useless" posts, words that the moderator deems are "degrading and demeaning", and other random Nazi-isms.

Makes this place seem like Shangri La.

After recently having left a group of boards where most of the participants cared more about proving their superiority at circuitous debating of nonsensical points than about getting to know and appreciate the people with whom they were debating, I'm glad to have found these boards and the friendly and relaxed mood of the people here.

I don't know that I fit in here any better than I did there, but I don't miss being called a moronic waste of skin by a bunch of pseudo-intellectuals who were too busy being clever to ever bother trying to be kind. This place is a lot less stressful, although after two years at the other boards, it could still be a while before I can hit the "Submit Reply" button without my hand shaking a bit. :) (And that's another thing about the other boards -- the use of smilies was severely frowned upon.)

No online community is paradise, but this place is closer to it than most of the ones I've visited.
