does anyone remember, years ago, when N@N stared to show the series (back when they were still a good channel)they started it with a marathon, and they had 3 different versions of the opening credits? One where the title said "The Dick Van Dyke daytime show" another one whe ther was no anouncer, and another one where the announcer says "The Dick Van Dyke show" and says "starring" and says all the names (in other words, the opening they always show)
Does anyone know why they did that? I assume "The Dick Van Dyke daytime show was from when CBS reran it on weekdays in the mid to late 60s.
Anyway, that's bugged me for years now.

I would guess that the reason they sometimes used 'The Dick Van Dyke Daytime Show' opening was that that was the best or only copy they had available to them.

The one without an announcer is the original opening, with the scattered pictures.
