Sherman and Isabel have done several different shows and commercials together since the Jefferson's ended, showing how popular they still are as a team. I always wondered why the producers of Amen never made an attempt to have Isabel come on as a guest star or an encore performance?Sort of like Bob Newhart ended up in bed with Suzanne Pleshette on the final episode of Newhart.

Who knows? Maybe they asked her and she declined for some reason. I think Marla Gibbs was on Amen once and I think Sherman was on 227 too. Isabel sort of semi-retired after Jeffersons because she only did select guest shots on shows. She was the grandmother of the children in a couple early episodes of In the House and Steve Harvey's overbearing mother on the Steve Harvey show.

Sherman and Isabel appeared as George and Weezie Twice on Fresh Prince in 1995 and 1996. They also appeared as their Jefferson characters on All in the Family after the Jeffersons premired. Sherman appeared as George Jefferson on AITF in 1978, and Isabel appeared on AITF in 1979.

I remember the Fresh Prince episode George and Louise were in,it was the last episode in 1996 where Will and everybody moved out of the mansion and they were one of the lookers that looked at the mansion when it was up for sale.

And they were in the ep of Fresh Prince when Lisa and Will were fighting George and Weezie-LOL

I believe they both or at least Sherman did a guest spot on Steve Harvey's Me and The Boys show.
