FOL is still important to some of us. For some of us it doesn't take one event and we just forget about FOL.I mean, yes, what happened was terrible, but one of the things that The Facts of Life teaches is that life goes on for the rest of us, I'm not trying to be cruel, I'm just saying that sooner or later, life has to go on for everyone that's still here, and the sooner the better!I'm not being mean, I just think that it's important that we don't dwell TOO MUCH on a negative, yes, it was horrible, I feel bad also, but I have to have time to escape it, there has to be a place to esacpe it, and this is it, so if you dont' think FOL is important right now, then take a brake from the boards.well, that's my opinion, thanks, bye!

I didn't talk abotu FOL at all yesterday... I wached the news. And yes we know that thousands of people died yesterday, they died 40 minutis away from me, I smell the smoke, I see the smoke... Whether talk about FOL or not I am constantly reminded ans thinking of what happened yesterday.

What happened is a tragedy, and we all feel for the victims. No one is showing any disrespect by continuing to post. There's a need to keep living. If we simply focus on this event forever, what good is that? We can't just come to a halt and stop living. Not only is that showing those cowards they won, but it's unhealthy to dwell on something like this. Cool down before you start judging others so harshly, k?

I feel very bad for everything that has happened don't get me wrong, but I mean, how can we stop posting about FOL on an FOL BOARD?

Moving off topic here, people don't understand how donating blood works, so they often choose not to. Your blood will get to where it is needed. If you live in Lincoln, Nebraska and donate blood, there is a probablility that it will end up with someone in St. Pete in Florida. It goes where the supply is low and the demand is high - in this case, NYC.

I think you need to be 16 to give blood, but I'm not sure. You can call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE for some good info on how to donate and so forth.

There's also a certain weight limit that goes with "qualifying" to give blood.

Look, I found out during second period that the Pentagon had been hit, where my uncle works. The stupid superintendent wouldn't let us call home, so I didn't know that he was alive and well or my aunt and cousin until seventh period. I've been in overdrive for the past two days. Writing and posting helps. On this board, I didn't have to face reality even it was only for half and hour. If you find all of this so trivial, then don't post. Come on. People are still within their right to talk about the Facts Of Life. That is why the board is here. We don't have to gert ourselves in bondage as to what is going on. What happened this past week has affected me deeply and I pray everday for the families of the victims. In fact, I had some relatives in NYC that got caught in the crossfire but by the grace of God they are ok. Please don't criticize others for asking about FOL. We still must continue with our daily routines.

BTW in Lisa's Journal, her daughter wrote a very moving letter. You guys should log on and read it.

well I think that the world, our nation, our country are more important then any television show. I mean FOL, TD etc.. are still important factors to some people in TV land, but for now, lets think of those people who have lost thier lifes, are missing, and whatever else they are going through...There.

I pray for those who mourn in the loss of their loved ones in The WTC tragity. My cousins friends husband was one of the fire-fighters who risked and lost his life buy trying to help others. Innocent lives of people were taking away in an instant. I live about a half hour away from what happened, I hope they dont do any more harm.
I also pray for those who lost their loved ones in the Pentagon tragity as well...

This is my first post afer all that has happend(I think)well I haven't posted to much but I have benn reading. I do that to have one brite spot in my day. but after hat I feel horrible again. This is scary and Ifeel really bad about all the people who died. Do you know what we did yesterday in honner of those people who died and got hurt really badly? Every body in the school stood around the poll with the flag lowered a little said the plege, the chorus,whitch I am in, led the shool in America the Beautiful and had a moment of silence, and tomarrow we are all wereing red white and blue for National Prayr and rememberance day.

Right now, sitcoms are my only way to relax. Some people want to get away for 30, 60, or 90 mins from the WTC Incident

I feel bad about what happened in NY and to the Pentagon and I have been watching the news and reading the paper for news everyday. I've even proofread articles that our school newspaper staff are putting the next paper, but like others said, FOL is a breather from all the tragedy that is goig on. I don't want a war so I really don't to dwell on it but I mean no disrespect to those who have lost lives and loved ones. I pray for them but I'm alive and I ve to go on and FOL is part of my life. When I first heard about the attack & the 50,000 people who died I got VERY scared that I went to my room, shut the door and HID! I was so frighten that I didn't eat I didn't sleep all I did was cry because of the terrist attacks and I was scared that they might hit here because I heard somewhere they would got to the big citys and fight and I live by one and I was horrified. OK, my story is probably meaningless and irrelevant to most of you, but I wanted to contrast the similarity between my professor, people fighting at this board, and the rest of the world out there. EVERYONE HAS GONE MAD. I am seeing this type of negative communication going on between people at other message boards too, not just Sitcoms Online.
