Cheers is great! I wish Three's Company was replacing that awful show called The Cosby Show and would leave Cheers alone.

What's wrong with me looking for other people on here that are happy about the Removal of Cheers from N@N in May?

They didn't run Cheers into the ground like with the damn TCS. That show's been on N@N since.....oh, 2001 or 2002...and it's already been run into the ground 23452362356253672456235624562562353 freaking times. Cheers has not.

Nothing is wrong with wanting to find other people who feel the same way you do. You just go about it the wrong way. Saying Cheers is an "AWFUL show" in your thread title is a terrific way to make people view your opinions.

Perhaps a better title would be "Does Anyone Agree?" followed by a nicely written post stating your opinion and asking if anyone agrees with you. As is, you've just made people upset. If you'd just take a moment, step back, and realize your opinions are not fact and stop presenting them as such, I for one would be a lot more open to reading what you have to say.

Well actually, CHEERS has been on NAN since October 2001 and has always been aired four times a night, except for when it would take special breaks. Add that to the fact that it is also on everynight on TVLand, and I think TC has all the right to replace Cheers. If anything, imo, Cheers should leave TVL and be exclusively on NAN. TC deserves to finally be on TVL.

Who cares if "Cheers" or "Three's Company" is on, they're both coming to DVD -- and in the end -- thats ALL that matters.

Really? I don't remember Cheers being on N@N in 2001. It was all Brady Bunch, Brady Bunch back then. Hmmm..I wonder why I don't remember that...

If I recall correctly, Cheers and Family Ties came to Nick At Nite in September and October of 2001.

Cheers was even aired unedited for a one-week launch marathon.

No, that's not all that matters to those of us who can't spend $40 every time a new set comes out.

But not necessarily everyone.

But the major difference is that Cosby gets the best time slots 10pm and 12am while Cheers gets 1am and 4am. That is hardly the same 4 times a night. But I agree that Three's Co should be on TV Land. I like Cheers on TV Land too though.

God Solomon... give it a rest. There are PLENTY of shows I don't watch, but I don't complain endlessly if a channel airs them. Every show has fans. If it doesn't get viewers, the network will take it off. Sheesh.

that is just YOUR opinion

I think the unspoken thing in here is, YOU HATE sitcoms that have an ensemble cast, and that is based around one specific place (MASH, Cheers, Wings, Taxi, I wouldn't put it past you to hate Newsradio, Mary Tyler Moore and Sports Night as well)

You need to start using "IMO", because your opinion IS NOT FACT. I think you're in the vast minority of posters in here to think that Fresh Prince was a superior series to Cheers, MASH, Wings or Taxi. Not saying you shouldn't like it, but stop using your opinion as basis of fact, because most people here do not agree with your opinion.

You can add Barney Miller to that list along with Mash, Cheers, Taxi, and Wings.

I don't know why you people are whining that Cheers is coming off N@N.Unless you stay up late, you wouldn't be able to see it.Plus it's on WB @ 10:30 + 3-4 PM on the weekends and on TV Land @ 11:30 PM.I wish they treated Three's Company like Cheers. If they took Three's Company off N@N,and had it in those time slots,I wouldn't care. You Cheers fans should be glad it's on so much

Im not trying to say that "Cheers" should be on over "Three's Company" -- actually, I could care less.
Because I plan on buying every season of both series on DVD.

And really the part about it being on late is a really dumb arguement.
You wont be able to watch "Three's Company" unless you stay up late as well.
If N@N only aired shows before 1:00.... it would be a complete waste of time.

They don't come out a month after the other. Cheers hasn't had a new DVD set come out since January of this year, and Three's Company hasn't had a new DVD set come out since November 2003. And, prices DO drop and stores DO have sales. I saw some Buffy sets for as cheap as $25-30 at one point. Myself, I got the Cheers Season 2 set for only $26 (Replay card and a gift certificate) -- its suggested retail price was something like $45. Ahhh yes. :)

Well said! I can't stand people who act like their opinion is an indisputable fact and people who disagree with them are stupid. TV Show Analyzer has the honor of being the only person on my "ignore user" list. It's not because of his opinions, it's because of the way he presents them and acts when people disagree with him.

Just a nitpick regarding The WB...that's your WB affiliate airing Cheers not The WB network, which only has programs during primetime weeknights and Sunday, I believe. All other timeslots are filled by syndicated packages and local shows. I don't see Cheers on my WB affiliate, we get syndicated episodes of Frasier and other sitcoms, but not Cheers.

They're constantly having auctions for the DVD sets of Cheers, etc. and I know they have a lot of cheap BIN options for those too...But I prefer to get mine in stores :D

Easy solution: Take two of the four episodes of TCS off, and replace them with Cheers, then both Three's Company and Cheers will air on N@N and eeryone will be happy.

Yeah, that would be a great idea
