There were quite a few funny incidents that happened BECAUSE of his always GOING COMMANDO. One was when they auditionned him with lovely starlets at MGM, here he is kissing Judy Garland and others of her status and then he noticed his fly was open. And he said he was embarrassed because HIS BIRD COULD FLY, his words not mine. One time at the Pierre Hotel in New York, he surprised Lucy and Geporge Schaffer, the head of RKO with a visit and his fly was open yet again, Mr Schaffer tried to warn him but to no avail, so finally Lucy told him to zip up and she turned to Mr Schaffer and casually said HE BELIEVES IN ADVERTISING!
