I was reading the latest issue of "US Weekly" and the cover is something about remembering the women of the 80's. I assumed that at least ONE person from FOL was in there. Nope! Of course not! Molly Ringwald was in there but they didnt even mention FOL! I think thats just wrong, I mean didn't FOL sorta make her well known or something? Or was she in something else before that?

That makes me mad too. The media is acting like FOL never exists. Hopefully this will change after the reunion. Anyway, about your question, FOL didn't make Molly well-known. Whe she left FOL to make the independent film "The Tempest," that's when she started getting noticed. And it wasn't until the later "Brat Pack" years that she was truly famous.
