View Full Version : Tracey on CSI
duffy76 04-07-2004, 08:56 PM I did a search on Yahoo TV listings to see if Tracey is going to be on anything soon and she is going to be on a CSI episode next Thursday, April 15. The name of the episode is "Bad Words." I don't usually watch the show, but I'll check it out to see Tracey.

When a teenage girl dies in a house fire, no one is above suspicion in the nineteenth episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's fourth season, "Bad Words".
The victim, Sabrina Abernathy, died of smoke inhalation in the fire, according to CSI Files sources. Because Sabrina was supposed to be having a sleep-over at a friend's house, her mother, Jessica, didn't even know she was home, and thus didn't tell the firemen to look for her. The other members of the family, eight-year-old Sam, grandmother Martha and Jessica herself, survived the fire.
The CSIs initially suspect a serial arsonist, since there was a garage fire on the same street in the previous week. Present at both incidents was the fiesty Viva Charles, who was arrested for attempted arson. Nick interrogates her, but discounts her as a possible suspect — although she has a passion for fire, she's no murderer.
Nick soon has another lead. In the Abernathys' garage he discovers a pile of high school newspapers reduced to ash. Sabrina was the editor of the school paper and had been preparing an expose on the baseball team — the captain, who was over 18, had allegedly procured a hooker for the boys to enjoy. How far would they go to keep it quiet?
While Warrick, Catherine and Nick work the Abernathy fire, Grissom and Sara are at a Scrabble tournament investigating the death of one of the players, Adam Burrows. Burrows was one of the best out there, and in the high-stakes world of Scrabble (well, high-stakes to the participants), it seems some people will do anything to win.
Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by CBS, Alliance Atlantis or Bruckheimer Films, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumour. The above information comes from an early draft of the script and details may change before the episode goes to air.
"Bad Words" will air later in 2004.
What do you think who she's gonna be? My guess is Viva Charles LOL but could be Jessica too I guess... or a scrabble player or whatever... I'm so thrilled :)

LMAO I was thinking the same thing about her being Viva. I could so see her being an serial arsonist! But then again, the Jessica sounds like it could be her too. :D

LOL yeah! Those are two so completely different roles.... fiesty Viva Charles LOL, I could totally see her pull that off! I mean she was all sassy and witty as Meg Austin already and Chris Spankowski in Boston Grace, though she was kinda Jinnyish too, but yeah, and in The Ponder Heart, Elsie Fleming, lol, she played a mororbike daredevil, and that kind of reminds me of what I imagine Viva to be like (comparing attitudes I think)
And Jessica... I mean I've never seen her playing a mommy before, so I'definitely love to see that too, but a teenage daughter? I mean, okay, possible, but would they really cast such a young mom then? But anyway, she always was great with kids on other TV series too, so I can't wait to see which it'll be... or maybe something completely different after all... and maybe Michelle's right and she's gonna be in CSI NY and this is just the beginning of that? Though I didn't find her name associated with CSI NY yet... but you'll never know... we'll see. :)
bananasplit 04-08-2004, 04:52 PM i'll have to watch it!!!
CD DeLorenzo 04-09-2004, 08:05 PM does anybody have pics from the previews????

duffy76 04-15-2004, 04:23 PM According to Tracey's IMDB entry, she plays Jessica in this episode.
NancyMRulz 04-15-2004, 04:30 PM i cant wait to see it tonight! lol

Your poor thing I am soooo sorry. Hey I taped it for cat. Maybe I can find a way to copy it off of that one if you are interested? Just let me know...or email me at Bscmab1234@aol.com
Tracey was truly amazing! The only other role that I had sceen her in was as CD. I have to say the character was complenty different for CD. So i got a nice lil treat.
Irish_Rose_Kate 04-16-2004, 03:18 PM Ooops sorry that was souposed to be of tracey...
*Marilyn Monroe* 04-16-2004, 04:42 PM I think it was a stupid move for her to quit TD because she went from a starring role on there to a guest starring role for one show. Even though it is on a more popular station, you can't tell me she's getting paid more, or even getting more recognition.

Hey, thanks! We're supposed to be getting the networks soon, and I'm sure that they'll rerun it over the summer, so don't worry about it. Plus, they show the reruns on USA or something. I'm sure I'll catch it eventually. It sounds really neat!

Argh! Although we probably will never know for sure what happened, I think there is pretty sufficient evidence to point to the fact that THE SHOW let Tracey go, and that she didn't quit. If she had been the one to quit, they would have told us that she had left for "personal reasons" rather than that bull that CD's story arc had ended. I'm almost sure that no actor would make a dumb move like quitting a starring role to do one guest-starring spot on another show.

I agree. When I found out she was gonna be on CSI, I thought the exact same thing. It makes no sense what so ever. I dont think we'll ever know what really happened so...yeah. But it was pretty stupid to leave TD.
Anywho, I didnt get to watch it because I had Talent Show rehearsals at my school And I completely forgot to tape it. I was so upset...

...But there are holes. Why would they let her go when she and Nate had just started a relationship? That would have been dumb on their part. Plus, I'm sure they didn't gain any viewers by letting Tracey go and hiring what's-her-name. She doesn't have a huge fan following, but after CD and Nate kissed, TONS of new users came on here, posting about their renewed love for The Division. Funny...no one really cares now. Just my opinion, though. I guess it is possible that the network might want to lose viewers, and have to pay the same amount, because they did hire that new girl full-time. So, it doesn't make sense to me why they'd fire her....I think she left to pursue something else.

I don't know why they would let her go, other than I think that DJL likes to shock viewers. I think that it was a really stupid move, but maybe they thought that it would spice the show up or something. I still think that if Tracey left on her own, they would've said that she had left to "pursue other interests" or for "personal reasons."
Also, there are still some of us who DO really care about the Nate/CD storyline, it's just that they don't post on the regular TD board much anymore, because there's nothing new to say about it. The fanfic board is almost completely full of CD/Nate fanfic.
Snowfall 04-18-2004, 01:05 AM sorry, ignore this.....
CD DeLorenzo 04-18-2004, 08:04 AM hey, no one knows what happened and why she left. Either she got fired or she quit, but none of us can be certain there. I agree though that the little information we got sounded very fishy, and whatever happened there must have been serious reasons for that decision, but that doesn't prove anything. Either way, unfortuantely we can't change it anymore, so why argue about something we have absolutely no information about, let's just be happy that she was on CSI and wish her the best of luck for whatever she has planned for her future now.

same here, i agree too. I think that we should be happy for her in whatever she does. we dont know what happened that made her leave the show but whatever it was, we should just be happy for her, even tho we didnt want it to happen.
