Wow. Ok, am I the only one who loved John Steven's performance? Some of the notes were kinda :eek:, but all in all.. it was so far my fav. of the nite.

Jasmine was good.. but whats with her singing songs that were already sung on AI before?! LOl seriously! She was ok, IMO I think Clay did a better job at it.

Camile was meeeh.. probably my fav. performance of hers.

George Huff was pretty good, even though Ive never heard of the song.

Fantasia... UGH. Thats one of my fav. Elton songs and it was uugh. Didnt like it. But Im not a fan of hers anyways.

JPL.. man..:( I wish he would go back to his old crazy ways, like the judges said. Not too bad though.

So far Im voting for JPL tonite and Jon Stevens.

Diana was really good.. I like how she played up to the audience.. aww Amy!! Ive never heard of that song either, so it was new to me. She did good. Shes one of the few in the top 12 that I look forward to seeing each week.

La Toya was really good, but I wasnt blown away either. Shes not my fav., which is probably why, but she did a good job. Ahahaha what Elton said about us voters. :rotflmao:

Jennifer. Yowsas! I actually liked it lol. But, its one of my all time fav. Elton songs.. so yeah. But what was up with zooming in on the hand? Dramatic effect?:lol:

Yeah! What's wrong with the judges? I LOVED John Stevens' performance too! This was the first time we've ever seen him so upbeat and happy..and damn his hair looked good tonight lol but ANYWAY..haven't the judges been saying he needs to WOW them and/or that he's too boring and things like that? Well duh. Whatever, I loved him. I'm voting for him tonight.

I really liked Jasmine too. Although I do agree with you, Clay sang that song better. lol, Clay's performance of that was one of my favorites of his, along with On the Wings of Love, Unchained Melody, and of course, Bridge Over Troubled Water.

George was great tonight. So was Jennifer Hudson. I was never a fan of either but tonight they were really, really good.

JPL ..ehh..I dunno I didn't like it that much. Definitely not one of his best....I was thinking maybe he should have done the song John Stevens did, but that was just me...

And I really liked Fantasia tonight. It was probably one of my favorite performances of hers.

1) I have Fantasia at number one tonight. Her singing and performing has been consistantly good. She is the one to beat.

2) I don't care what the judges said Jasmine Trias was great tonight.

3) George Huff is third.

4) Jennifer Hudson is forth. Her best performance so far.

5) Diana Degarmo is fifth. This is the lowest i've had her. Her peformance was good, but not the best tonight.

6)Latoya London

7)John Peter Lewis. His singing just isn't good enough to be the American Idol.

8)Camile Valasco. She's attractive, but her peformances are dull.

9)John Stevens. He got off to a good start the first 2 weeks, but the last 2 weeks he's been mediocre. He should have sang "I guess that's why they call it the blues". That song would have been better for his style.

The judges really hurt his feelings (Camille's too.) I thoght JPL did so bad. :( He is one of my favorites, this week I don't know. I thought Simon's comments were funny-the one about Elton John in Las Vegas throwing their tv out the window! LOL!

The judges could have at least congradulated John Stevens for dancing and being daring...or did they. I know Randy said something about that though.

Me...I am voting for JPL(of course), Fantasia, and Diana, and I may throw in a few votes for John Stevens. I loved him tonight, and he tried so, so hard.:)

Yeah, I wanted him to do that song, too. I still thought it was pretty good, but then again he's my favorite so I'm gonna vote for him no matter what (102 times to be exact, tonite).Fantasia and Jennifer were the only other ones that really impressed me. Jasmine - I really only liked her in Soul week... she got off key a bit.

Camile - Damn, I was hoping she'd be good. I even shut my eyes and didn't watch her dance, which is what made me like her other songs... didn't help. DESPERADO FAN HERE!!!!!

George - I liked it, but I didn't know the song, so yeah. My mom thought he was saying, "Take me to the potty", so I laughed through the whole thing.

Diana - I looooove that song. And she did it well. I LOVED IT THAT SHE SAID HEY GIRL TO AMY. That made my night.

LaToya - She just doesn't blow me away. She's not memorable. Come to think of it, I don't even remember what she sang.

Jennifer - I hate to say it, cos I cannot stand the girl, but she was amazing. GREAT. And it made me laugh cos that song's on William Hung's CD.

Here's what I think of tonight's performances. I think it was mediocre for the most part. Best performances of the night go to Fantasia, Jasmine, George, Latoya, and Jennifer. The rest were just not Top 12 quality tonight. I am beginning to be more and more disappointed with every week that passes. What is going on here? :eek:

My Rankings

1. George- The man is a machine. Every week he does well.
2. La Toya- She is proving she has one of the top voices.
3. Jennifer- What a surprise! Clearly her best of the year.
4. Jasmine- It was okay.
5. Fantasia- It was her worst of the year, but still not bad.
6. Diana- She needs to cut down on the running around and yelling and go back to belting on stage.
7. John- A good effort with a weak result, but possibly good enough to keep him around.
8. Camile- It was one of her better nights, which isn't saying much.
9. Jon Peter- It was painful to listen to. He did not do Sir Elton justice.

George, Jennifer, Latoya. I didn't know George's song, but he sounded great as usual, he never lets me down. Jennifer was awsome, what can I say, she blew me away and if she goes home that will be so wrong. Latoya, never was a big fan of hers, but the last couple of weeks she's been great!

Bottom:
John S., JPL, Camile. I like the fact that John S. did something different, and he started out real good, and then he just lost it. JPL, I really liked him in the beginning, now he's just losing it. Camile, I think its time for her to go now.

But if spoilers are right, it'll be Fantasia. I dont remember what LaToya sang either. lol. But about your bottom 3, i think those 3 have had the 3 weakest performances 2 weeks in a row. If atleast 2 of them arent in the bottom 3, theres a problem. Oh, and I do think Fantasia has the best chance of being the "surprise" bottom 3-er this time around. She was the 1st performer, and just didnt do amazingly well, while she still sang well.

My son and I thought John Stevens sounded great, and it was nice to see him come out of his shell. I feel sorry for him when the judges tell him he's awful every week; he looks so sad. :(

My favorites last night were JPL and Jasmine! I voted for them both because they were so great!

I voted for John the most. I gave him 60 votes! I know it's not enough, but I had to do something else then.

Well then thats when you know that a person doesnt belong there because if he did then he wouldn't try his very best and still get bashed by the judges. John should just quit while he's ahead...
