Santa Mama aired this morning. Marne Patterson(Dorrie) has grown into a very beautiful woman hasn't she? That moment in the mall when Mama is talking with Dorrie is so precious! It always brings a tear to my eye!

I was wondering why Marne looked so familiar - after some searching, I discovered she was in one of my fave movies, "Camp Nowhere" in 1994! That was a great movie! Hard to believe Marne was that little girl on MF!

And I see that "Santa Mama" was the first TV role she ever had. Awww....:)

She was just adorable in Santa Mama! What a natural actress! I love it when she asks Mama for a mink coat for her mom!Awwwwwwwwwwwwww:)

Yep! She has a VERY cute smile, too! She kinda reminds me of Shelley Long....the blonde hair and all...:)

You know what I just thought of? If in 1986 when this episode was filmed Mama would have been 68 years old. So now she would be 86 years old!:eek: Wonder if she would be as feisty or in a nursing home or something?:eek: What do you guys think?:confused:

IMDb.com lists her as appearing in "Saved By The Bell , The New Class" in 1997 on NBC. Maybe she had/has a contract with NBC? :confused:
