On tv today, it said Robin Williams may be bringing Mork and Mindy to the big screen. He also said he thought Kim Cattrall would make an excellent Mindy

ALSO- Callista Flockhart said she likes the thought of Ally McBeal on the big screen. I liked the first few series (it got bad round when georgia's husband died) but then went waaaaayyyy downhill. I suggest if she wants it on the big screen- get a digital projector.

I'm wondering however if Robin Williams was joking about Mork and Mindy. TV remakes are done now- but usually not by the people in the originals.

I do not like the idea of a Mork & Mindy remake regardless of whether or not Robin Williams or any of the other people involved in the original series are going to take part in the making of the movie. There are some shows that cannot be remade and I think M&M is one of them.

Well, considering that Kim Cattrall is only five years younger than Pam Dawber in real life, I have two words for that - Bad Choice. Do we want a Mindy that old? And if we do, why not just get Pam back??

Enough remakes! Hollywood needs to start investing in creativity instead of tired retreads of old shows - some of which weren't that great in the first place.

Not referring to M&M by the way...

Don't get me wrong here... if Robin Williams can produce it and oversee the project, I think this can work... maybe he could direct it... yikes, Robin Williams as a director! Wow! Bring out the champagne if that happens.

It would feel odd having a Happy Days spinoff hit the big screen before M&M and L&S's predecessor hit it... wow!

Before anyone makes a theatrical version of M & M, shouldn't they tell us what the hell happened in the last episode when Mork and Mindy went flying thru time? That would make me happy.

Also: Is there any fan fiction out there for Mork and Mindy? I would enjoy some N-17 rated material...hey I am 40. I was 14 when the show was on. I can ask, can't I?
