So I'm in Arizona and I just bought a baby cactus...it's so cute...and I named it "Staypuff Marshmellow Man"

So I don't want little Staypuffy-wuffy to die so anyone know how much I should water him?

Well why don't you go by the rain in Arizona. Water it whenever it rains there. Then you know that the cactus is not getting any more water than it would be getting in the wild.

yea, except i live in maryland so i don't exactly know when it rains there

If the top 1/2 of the soil is dry, water it. Give it a good watering, but don't over water it. Maybe every 2 weeks. Some cacti require different care, but this is usually what I do.

where are you in arizona? cause i live there. hooray.

i got a baby cactus several years ago... i dont remember what happened to it, i think my mom took care of it for me cause i wouldnt have know what i was doing :grr:

I'm in Phoenix right now, I also went to the Grand Canyon, I'm going back to Las Vegas tomorrow where I spent the first 2 days of my vacation.
