The rejected contestant from America Idol had his own CD coming out. The question is, how many of you would actually buy it?
It is amazing how these people get instant stardom. Well who would but who would not?

If the price isn't too high, I'd buy it. Hung performed here in SD recently. I didn't get a chance to see him, though.

I wouldn't. But if this guy can make a buck and milk his 15 minutes of fame, more power to him. ;)

I definitely won't be getting it.

I think some people will but it out of curiosity. You know, to see how he sounds.

Didn't he get rejected from American Idol? How did he get a record deal? Hey! An American Idol reject can get a record deal too!

Actually, several other AI "rejects" or "losers" have record deals too... Clay Aiken, Kimberley Locke, RJ Helton, and I'm sure several others have some type of deal as well but with smaller companies. Justin Guarini used to have a deal with J Records, but after disappointing sales, he was dropped from their roster.

The reason I think that William has so many fans is because people are intrigued by his personality, and perspective in life (seriously. LOL.) I wouldn't be surprised if this CD goes GOLD, heck, it can even outsell Damita Jo.

It's quite clear that William is the real winner of AI3.

once again showing why I hate American Idol and Simon Cowell. Extra had a special about William a few days ago, and they brought his cd over to Simon's place, and Simon was such a jackass about it.

Why do people feel the need to crap all over somebody's dream? No, William cannot sing, but I'm sure he's a nicer guy than the majority of these "good" singers.

I listened to it on AOL yesterday. Sure it's bad, but the guy is just so cute. I'm definetly buying it.

yep. I admit though that I would rather see an "average" vocalist who is very sweet and friendly to their fans than someone such as Barbra Streisand who has an incredible voice, and is also known for being a (word that describes a female dog) doing well. Hung has absolutely no redeeming talent, but he does seem like he's both having fun, and also that he's sweet to his fans, which is what the way artists SHOULD be IMO.

The whole thing is hilarious to me. LOL but he's not hurting anyone though.

I Agree that Simon should be nicer and some of his comments are not necessary.

Simon is just been real. What do you prefer..someone that sugar-coats the truth and make you dream in vain? or someone that tells it the way it is and make you realize your dream may not come true. Some of those kids expectations are too high and they need their bubble burst

one persons opinion is not the truth.

Remember, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez are both successful singers. Do either of them have any "singing talent"? Most people will say no. If they have the right to have a nice recording contract, why shouldn't someone else?

Not every artist handed a contract sounds like Celine or early Mariah or early Whitney or Josh Grobin or whoever. I don't think Simon has the right position to tell someone if they are great or if they suck when the PUBLIC has made superstars out of the likes of Britney and J. Lo, neither of which are anybody's opinion of a "good vocalist". What's the difference? Okay, Britney's sexy and J. Lo has a nice bum, but that shouldn't be a reason to have a record contract. So what about those 2 is frankly so much better than the 1000's of Simon rejects?

No sugarcoating, but He does not need to beat a dead horse with his comments. Sometimes I wanna say "hey dude, we get the point" Be real, but he is decorating his comments with extra insults that are not necessary. From one angle, he is coating his insults with more unecessary crap.
