lol i never even realized that, if i were to make a funny joke about mexicans being freeloaders or blacks looking like apes it would be considered offensive and yet it's ok to make fun of somebody's intelligence bcuz of their hair color.

If you wouldve even bothered to read my whole message, you would know that im not offended by it. I said that IT'S HYPOCRITICAL. everyone would have a cow if someone made lesbian jokes or whatever, but making blonde jokes is ok. yeah that makes alot of sense.

um I did read your whole message. Comparing someone's haircolor to their sexuality or ethnicity is like comparing apples and oranges. You can change your hair color but you can't change who you are.

That's the ****tiest justification for something i've ever heard. It is still insulting an entire group of people for something that has nothing to do with their personality. And technically, you can change your ethnicity. Just look at michael jackson. :)

Sarah, I have to agree with you. Just because my hair is blonde doesn't mean I'm stupid...and tons of people think I am, just because of that. I'm not saying that some of the jokes aren't funny, but I don't see how it's fair to make fun of one thing, but not another.

The picture is funny. I don't think targeting one group of people is funny though.Jenya 's post seems like harmless fun.

I'm blonde and I tolerate the jokes. But that's because I know that they are just jokes. I know that I'm not stupid just because my hair is blonde (It does make for a good excuse when I do something stupid, though ;) ) I mean c'mon, if you can't laugh at yourself and know that it's just a joke...you seriously need to lighten up.

yeah i think blonde jokes are pretty funny and i can tolerate them.. and i know insulting people with a certain haircolor isnt as serious as race, religion etc, i just still dont know why its ok to make them. it kinda pisses me off

Yeah, I can tolerate them, like I said. But I can see where they'd get really old if people started to treat you differently or something because of them. That would make me mad.
