Well I'm getting ready to start my new fanfiction. The plot is the castaways get rescued after being on the island for a year and a half. Ginger and Proffesser get married right away in a Hollywood wedding chapel. But Gilligan and Maryann have a fight (u can find out about what in my ff: )
and they go their separate ways. You'll see what happens.
Oh yeah um Skipper and Gilligan rejoined the Navy. Gilligan's first name is what popped into head for an unknown reason I couldn't think what his first name so I just picked somethin simple. It won't be used much anyway. It's just there. If u have a better name tell me soon!

Part 1~The tiny Port in Hawaii

Well after a year and a half (18 months to be exact) the castaways were rescued. The Proffesser and Ginger got married in Hollywood and Ginger starred in a movie called "Runaway to Mexico On Christmas" (lol). Ginger got preganant a year later. Skipper went back to Hawaii with his unknown family and rejoined the Navy. The Howells went back to New York. Enough about them now.

Well, Gilligan rejoined the Navy along with the Skipper in Hawaii. Maryann went to cook at a restaraunt in Kansas for 2 months and then went work at a Hawaiian restaraunt near the harbor. Guess why! She and Gilligan became a couple! In fact they bought an apartment together and after 4 months, started talking about marriage. Maryann thought that after they married she'd go to college and open her own restaraunt in Winsfield, Kansas. Gilligan wanted to stay in the Navy and live in Hawaii. They thought about this. Maryann begged Gilligan out of the Navy for fear of him being drafted into Vietnam. She didn't want to constantly move around from place to place. Gilligan on the other hand, wanted to travel around alot. Gilligan enjoyed the Navy enough not to worry about being drafted.

They finally had a huge argument. They brokeup sadly. Maryann went back to Kansas to live with her parents and got her old job back at The Winsfield General Store. Gilligan stayed where he was. After 3 months Maryann couldn't take it any more and broke down. She missed Gilligan so much and thought he didn't love her anymore. "He's probably found another girl and has forgotten me!" She told her parents (George and Lorie) and best friend Cindy Williams. But she was way off. Meanwhile back in Hawaii, Gilligan moped, whined, and it drove the Skipper and Gilligan's brother Adam crazy. Adam was in the Navy also. He missed Maryann so much and blamed himself for everything. "Maryann is probably doing great without me! I probably did her a favor!" Gilligan would whine.

Of course, Maryann called her good friend Ginger Grant Hinkley the whole story. Ginger tried to console but it was no use. Ginger called Mr. Howell and told her the bad news. Of course, being Mrs. Howell, she came up with a plan similar to her favorite game matchmaker. Mr. Howell called Gilligan and invites him up to New York without telling him Maryann was going too.


To be continued. There will be lots of dialouge in Part 2 unlike Part 1. This is going to be my 1st COMPLETED fanfic its not that good. I have to start my fanfic "The New Castaways" on ff. net huh?

By the way this is called "Matchmaker, With A Twist."
