I have started watching both of these sitcoms in the month of March and so far Laverne and Shirley has been enjoyable. I never thought i would find squiggy so damm funny. The characters who stand out are Laverne and squiggy. The least funniest character is Shirley. Kind of like how janet wood was of Three's company. I only watched 2 eps of Mork and Mindy so far so L&S is better at this moment.

LaVerne & Shirley. I could never quite get into Mork And Mindy.:p

I like both series.
Even though the first Season of Mork & Mindy is funnier than any season of Laverne & Shirley....

Id have to say I still like L&S more.

I'm in the process of watching the first season of Mork and Mindy on my local station.

I like both Laverne & Shirley and Mork and Mindy a lot. Out of those two, Laverne & Shirley is a bigger favorite of mine since it's more like I Love Lucy and The Lucy Show.

I have to agree Sean. I been watching Mork and Mindy for a week now and Mork is just too ******** for me. I can't stomach the show anymore. Seem like that show was created for 3 year olds.

I'm not sure if I have a preference between those two. It's been so long since I've seen L&S that I don't really remember what it's about, and I haven't seen M&M in years either, but vaguely remember what that's about.

I love both shows, i couldn't really pick one over the other, and when they come out on dvd, i'll probably get 'em BOTH :greedy:

Mork and Mindy. For whatever reason, the actresses on Laverne and Shirley just rubbed me the wrong way.

I saw the ep the other day when he was acting 3 yrs old and Mindy was his mother. I had to change the channel.

Mork And Mindy was ok but this is one of the many reasons why I gave up on Happy Days! They drifted so far from their original premise! I hated that show after they went before a live audience! It ruined the show! A little bit ridiculous it became(ie; Mork) :rolleyes:

Oh yes, of course he went overboard. That's what I loved about him. Check out the Mork and Mindy outtakes (http://www.tvobscurities.com/pages/outtakes.htm) I've got at my site. The whole cast was overboard, even when the camera wasn't rolling, and that's what I like about the show. Sure, it went downhill at the end, but I enjoyed it.

I'll go with L&S. Both actresses got a chance to shine equally, while Pam Dawber was completely in Robin Williams' shadow. I don't feel she ever got an episode where she could really shine by herself.

Of course, both shows made BAD choices - moving L&S to California and adding Mearth to M&M. :eek: :eek: :eek:

Was she ever supoosed to shine?-lol I thought her role was to always be in that supporting role

^ I always thought Mindy should be able to do more. She was always just...there.

Laverne & Shirley was my favorite of the two, although I did like Mork & Mindy too.

I enjoyed Laverne & Shirley more but that is not to say that Mork & Mindy did not have its moments of fun for me.

I must be the only one on the planet that liked Mearth. lol I thought the show rebounded that last season from a poor 3rd season.
