Wooo Woooo!!!

I was just going to post the same thing, but saw you had it started! I hate to admit it, but there are a couple things that shocked me. Granted, I know it's been awhile, but Charlotte Rae is looking much older than I remembered. How old is she now? It just seems that she should be her perky self from the FOL days.

And Mindy Cohn looks much better with longer hair. The short hair look just doesn't do it for me. Her "suitors," as Lisa Whelchel called them are decent looking. One looks a bit older than the other -- I wonder if that will be a factor in the story.

Keep in mind, I'm not complaining. Maybe it's because I haven't seen as much of Rae and Cohn as the others, so the change is more dramatic.

I'm hoping SOMEONE is copying Lisa Whelchel's daily journal into Microsoft Word or something so that it can be kept. Also, copy and paste those pictures into a file to save. I doubt there will be another reunion after this, so we had better make it last!!!

I frequently read lisa's journal but what date in the entry of the pic's under. They latest is sept 4 and she talk of them but has no pics of they.

I just finished copying all journals to date. I also have the pictures form the reunion so far. I am going to keep this up and save it daily.

Well you know charolette is pushing 80 years old. I agree mindy doesn't look that flattering in the pictures. But maybe she was having a bad day.

I'm pretty sure Charlotte turned 75 in April, right? I think she looks pretty good for her age. I don't like Mindy's hair though. lol.

I just saw those pics! Mindy and Charlottle look REALLY different, not necessarily in a bad way, but just different... Huh? I hope that's just a scripty-working-thing to keep the hubby's straight. (Course, it could be a joke -- like Blair didn't want to have to change her monograms so she found a guy with the same last name <!?!> or she went a little overboard protecting those Warner genes and married a distant cousin <hey, calm down! I said "distant"! <grin> )

Does anyone here live in Ontario, or wherever the filming is? Check the local papers and see if you can find out where they are shooting at. It would be so cool to actually find them.

I'm getting pumped about this. I will be PO'd if the movie sucks. It WILL NOT SUCK!!!

Maybe, since Blair was so rich and was going to be taking over her dad's business and all, that he took HER name instead of vice-versa. Just a thought. Or maybe, his last name really is Warner, and it is just a freak of nature that that happened. Who knows. I guess we will find out in 74 days.

I hope that is the case. I doubt if Snake will be one of the sutiors. You would have thought they would have married by now. I saw Mindy on the Hollywood Squares lst year and she looked great. Maybe she just got off the plane in the picture. I'm sure she'll look great in the film.

Re: the Tad Warner Question

Lisa said in one of her earlier journals that his own name is Tad Warner, which makes her now Blair Warner Warner.

I think it's great touch to have Blair so vain that she actually marries someone with the name Warner so she could keep her name. A good indication of the fun humor in the script? I hope so. Lisa has said several times how funny she thinks the script is. I hope she's right.

FOL was a comedy, after all. I dislike sitcom reunions that get serious and maudlin. Hey, that's not why we watched the show in the first place, so why we would we want a reunion like that?

Of course, everyone's 10-15 years older since we last saw them, but Mindy and Charlotte aren't wearing their stage makeup in those photos, which makes a big difference, too (if you've ever seen pictures of Lucille Ball without makeup, you know what I mean). They look much more like us "regular people" than celebrities. I'm sure they'll look fine for the movie once the makeup people work their magic.

The Blair/Tad thing is just like my old neighbors son and daughter inlaw. They had the same last name, Taylor, completely diff. families and they got married. Not only that, but her moms nme and his dads name are the same. But her mother spells it Carol and he spells it Carroll. Just thought I'd mention that.

Sorry, my math is a little off!I figured it really fast.I think it's 13 years.....yea....that's it....13 years....that's only as old as me!GEEEEEEEZ if it were up to me, FOL would still be having NEW episodes!
