Today's episode was a little slow. It does seem that a rift is brewing between Christopher and Tony. Of course, his relationship with Paulie is gonna be strained with Paulie telling Tony to whack him.

Of course, his relationship with Paulie is gonna be strained with Paulie telling Tony to whack him. Brian Damage 04-04-2004, 11:34 PM That thing with Paulie Walnuts is going to escalate I think. I thought that Adriana was going to get coked up and accidently tell Tony what she was doing. Is it just me or the scenes with Tony and Dr. Melfi boring? Janice 04-05-2004, 12:24 AM I really enjoyed this episode. I know it was a bit of a departure in format, with the single main storyline, but I loved every minute of it. There were a few things that I found funny....Tony scraping the crap off the bottom of his shoes....checking himself for cancer in the office....walking back to pick the pizza off the floor at Carmella's...these all showed his showed his childish or vulnerable side. Tony and Melfi's conversations do lag a bit sometimes, but tonight, after the car crash and the horror that followed...when he said to Melfi, "I should have just F'd her." I almost fell off the sofa laughing. Two very tense moments there. First, when Christopher was going ballistic on Adriana. I thought he was going to kill her. Then, when Tony & Co. took Christopher to the remote area...this heart was pounding fast. I think the show is getting better with every passing episode. :) Brian Damage 04-05-2004, 10:14 AM I agree Janice. I was laughing when Tony went back to pick up the pizza. Moonlight Lady 04-05-2004, 10:49 AM Originally posted by Brian Damage I agree Janice. I was laughing when Tony went back to pick up the pizza. That was great. I would've gone back for it too. I was on the edge of my bed last night throughout the whole episode. I was off on my "Next To Get Whacked" guesses though. dlemond 04-05-2004, 10:51 AM First off, best episode in a long time. How much drama can you pack in one hour? It felt like a movie, and I didn't want it to end. Tony about to kill Christopher?- after Tony knew he was in the wrong? It just speaks on so many levels how screwed up Tony is and how his life is slipping out of his control. It was like he felt he HAD to kill him to save face- when Tony created the problem! So much good tension and dialogue and the fact that Christopher didn't kill Adriana but went looking for Tony actually showed me that he is more perceptive than we thought. Not a smart move by any stretch, but he knew Tony would screw him over. No matter what he said, it was intention to have her. And just the look on Tony's face talking to Christopher was filled with guilt- besides the fact that he acted completely defensive. And I can't wait until that mopey Fed woman is gone, no doubt she is going to bite it. The way the Feds go around making jokes and acting all superior tells me that the writers have something set up for them to take it tough. And the picking up the pizza thing was hysterical- it would have been sitcom silly if not for the screamfest that preceded it. It was a clever call. bandito 04-05-2004, 06:52 PM I thought it was a great show also. The rumor spreading to Uncle Jr., and everyones' comments along the way were hilarious. The whole crew showing up at dinner at the end was funny also. marvin g 04-05-2004, 10:02 PM I really thought Tony was gonna wack Christopher! He was luck is other cousin Tony save his rump!! Brian Damage 04-05-2004, 11:40 PM His cousin Tony fascinates me. He has been quiet for awhile now, but I expect him to blow a fuse soon and return to the family. |
