Ok, so the other day I decide to install Adobe Photoshop and I get the CD. Meangya, first off we have 4 of them- all different versions. I got 4.0, 5.0, 5.5, 7.0, and 6.0. I was trying to do the 6.0 the other day and I had it all set up until it got to the serial number part. I had no idea what it was. Then, lastnite I came to my senses and noticed my Dad had saved the SN to the disc too. Well, I get the #, and now it wont let me install it! I tried every other version too.. NOTHING. But it lets me install all the other things from the CD, including PSP (which is mind boggling nonetheless). Why, all of a sudden wont it let me do it?! This is what I get when I right click properties:

Its listed as READ-ONLY so when I unclick it, this pops up:

Meangya, so lastnite I decide to DL it offline.. and it needs to be unzipped, so I dl that thing too.. and now it wont work. WTF!! I swear this computer is out to get me. If its not one thing, its another.

so let me get this straight *shudders in confusion* you are trying to UNZIP a program that you downloaded onto a CD - and it is telling you it is read-only?

where did you get the CD? and did you say that it has PSP AND Photoshop on it???

... i'll give you a hint - Windows wont let you change the properties of a file on a cd - unless you can write to the cd

i think you better ask your dad about this

(and stop posting those incriminating photos!)
