If I say answer that, then everyone would list a list of shows. I really want to tell everyone what it is, but it's a secret right now. Usually I do leave clues around...

I hope this doesn't turn out like the one time pav announced the hour long drama that got everyone excited. Then we were all let down to hear it was MacGyver.

I'm betting it's going to be Three's Company.....just a hunch.

Since it's a secret, can I ask you a question that probably won't give it away? Do you, personally think it's a good fit for TVLand and that most people will be glad it's joining?

Yeah, I guess it's a fit. Depends on one's taste. I'm not answering any more questions on this, or trouble can arise.

In Pav's post (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?postid=1583445#post1583445) on The Addams Family board, he mentioned that the show was returning to cable in June and although he didn't release the network at the time; we now know that TV Land must be the only possibility.

The Addams Family might be the "new" show since it will serve as a "replacement" when the rights to the The Munsters expires in June.

OR

It could be Three's Company since N@N quit airing it about a month or so go. The show is probably "resting up" for TV Land.

You have a perfect right to have different tastes that others, but when other people enjoy a show that you don't, you should be happy for them--every show has its fans. Now, I really don't like Friends, but if it came to Nick at Nite in 10 years or so, I might grumble a bit, but wouldn't bash it completely.

Facts of Life is an enjoyable little sitcom. Its not my favorite show, but I do enjoy watching it from time to time.

I want to see:

Good Times
What's Happening!
Diff'rent Strokes
Bob Newhart show
Newhart
Fact's of Life
Welcome Back Kotter
Get Smart
Bossem Buddies
Perfect Strangers

PS: a little off topic, I wish TV Land, Trio, or any network to air a marathon off all of the episodes of the short lived Steve Harvey sitcom "Me and the Boys". Or TV Land can air "Me and the Boys" as part of the TV Land Kitchen, like they did with other short lived sitcoms such as "Square Peqs". I want to tape all of the episodes of that sitcom.

Also, to say 90% of the board wants FOL back is a big overstatement....

Whatever it is, I just hope it's a show that I actually want to see again, otherwise, it won't matter.
As one of the few Love Boat fans on this site, I'm kind of upset that it's leaving, but I have all the episodes TV Land aired on tape, to watch at anytime.
I would love to see shows like The Addams Family again...

No, barwars means that it's most likely that most of TC will be on DVD BY September 2005. If they do it in 4-month intervals like they are right now with Cheers, then the 3rd season will be out in Sept '04, 4th in Jan. '05, 5th in May '05 and then 6th by Sept '05.

Make sense?

I would love for it to be either:

Make Room for Daddy (1953-1964/351 episodes)
All eleven seasons. I understand that the syndicated package for this show is only seasons 5 thru 11. But I'd rather get those seasons than no seasons at all.

Car 54, Where Are You? (1961-1963/60 episodes)
I love this show and want desperately to get all episodes on either tape or DVD.

The Patty Duke Show (1963-1966/104 episodes)
I used to love this on N@N back in the 80's and haven't seen it since. Except for one episode in 1995, during the N@N anniversary special.

Topper (1953-1955/78 episodes)
I never have seen this show, but it looks interesting.

The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis (1959-1963/147 episodes)
I'd love to get all these on tape. Another show I haven't seen since the 1995 anniversary. Although I know TV Land showed it briefly in like 1997 or 98.

I know this is obvious, but since there are only 64 episodes of "The Addams Family", a 48 hour marathon means they're gonna show every episode all at once. So get out those blank tapes, fans.

But airing it 3 times a day? It seems to me like 1 airing too much.

The Addams Family is one of my all time favorite shows and a marathon is perfect, but I agree 3 airings a day is a bit much. They should air it back to back with The Munsters, even though I dislike that show, it still would be cool to air the creepy families back to back.
