They could hire any sick **** to work there and they don't even know if the person has a criminal history. It's sad and awful and it goes to show that no place is safe.

Any industry that deals with children has to be really careful with thier hiring practices. It's a known fact that many child molestors and pedophiles will try to get a job that puts them near children.

Actually, I'm surprised something like this leaked out. Disney is usually pretty quick to silence any "problems" that occur at thier parks.

Well anything is possible but I don't think so. The girl and her mother got the same impression about what happened to them and didn't even discuss it with eachother at first. It sounds strong to me.

Last time I was at WDW was in Jan. 1990, and I don't remember seeing a Tigger there...I had a pretty great trip there. It's sad when people like him ruin it for the visitors. :(

That guy has probably taken pictures with hundreds if not thousands of women and children. Why would he all of a sudden decide to fondle those two and no one else?

Disney had deep pockets and they are looking to cash in.

He could've done it before but this is just the first time they are reporting it. Some girls might be way to scared to tell that it happened. I don't know, but I got my picture taken with Tigger last year and he never touched me. Well, I put my arm around him, but that was it- if he did touch me inappropriately he get a SLAP from me!

But honestly people, Disneyworld is like a child molestor's playground Yeah that's what I've always thought. :( Whoever hires employee's there should run extra tight background security checks before even considering hiring them. Its a sick world when a place like Disney World can't even be a total safe haven. So much for it being "the happiest place on Earth".

Disney had deep pockets and they are looking to cash in. i do find it a little odd that they waited several hours afterwards to say anything, and eight days before they officially reported it, however i think the truth will be told by the lawsuits that get filed here...

1) He really did it.
2) The girl and her mother are looking for cash.

Considering all the sicko perverts out there ranging from Priests to amusment park employees, I would believe the little girl and her Mother. This is just beyond sick. They should throw the book at this guy if convicted and throw away the key.

Disney has VERY STRICT background checks for its employees. However, there are always sickos that will slip through the system and this appears to be such an example. Tragically, amusement parks have become places were the perverts roam with the kids and their families. I can't imagine what this little girl and her Mother are going through. I believe the story is true.

This is kind of sad, but it kind of gives new meaning the tigger's phrase "woo hoo hoo hoo"! And I almost wound up getting the part of Tigger here at Disney here in Orlando. Go figure.

It was a sicko in the costume. I was driving taxi at Disney this past weekend. I did not have the heart to tell the families with kids in the car that the guy who played Tigger was arrested for molestation.
