I just got Season 1, and havent even finished the first disc, and Im VERY bummed that Seasons 2-7 aren't coming.

Anybody have any idea of what we could do to make Fox change their minds??

If you haven't already, voting at tvshowsondvd.com is a great start. If you go to http://www.jyanet.com/mtm/030328.shtml and scroll down a bit, there's a snail-mail address for Fox that you can try as well.

Hope that helps!

Season 1 didn't sell b/c Fox didn't put any effort into promoting it. Maybe Fox needs to know that, if they actually did promote it, more people would buy season 2.

They already finished producing it.
The hard part is done (remastering the episodes)....
they really CANT loose any money by releasing it.
TV on DVD is EASY cash for big corporations.

Not that easy. Most people who watched the Show in the 70's probably wouldn't feel the need to pay money to see what they already saw.

with that arguement.... DVDs and VHSs are worth nothing.
I mean, if youve seen a movie or tvshow before.... why bother buying it?!

I thought a person had to know what they are paying for. I didn't know people just bought TV SHOWS on DVD for the heck of it.

What I'm saying is, no one that I know would buy a TV show on DVD that they never saw or heard of before including myself.

well that makes sense.
but your last post didnt.

Your last post said that it would be dumb for someone to buy something they've already seen.

And if you mix your two posts together.... you're practically saying that ALL Videos and DVDs are pointless.

Well my mom for example saw all the 70's sitcoms during it's original run and refuses to buy any of those shows on DVD.

Yeah, but that's just one person. If you're a fan of the show, (And I think most of us here fall into that catergory) or you remember it fondly from the '70's, you'd probably want to buy it on DVD. But only if you know it's out there, which is were Fox messed up, IMO.
