barwars 04-02-2004, 08:56 PM Frasier: Burying A Grudge

The scenes with Niles concerning Maris are funny, but Martin's plot is not all that funny.

They played "On The Beach" before "Lockdown." I'd never seen it before. That was an incredibly sad episode.
dawsongirl 04-02-2004, 11:12 PM The Nanny
"The Chatterbox"

Nanny Fine 04-02-2004, 11:19 PM The Nanny:

barwars 04-02-2004, 11:50 PM Mary Tyler Moore "001 - Love Is All Around"
8/10
Im rating this a little differently -- seeing that its the pilot.
Very good.
Mary Tyler Moore "002 - Today, I Am A Ma'am"
6.5/10
Although still funny, I like the office episodes better.
as you can probably tell.... i just got season 1 on DVD
vashti1999 04-03-2004, 01:36 AM I watched the Big House premiere episode, "Hart Transplant" and liked it despite what the critics in two newspaper reviews said. 8 of 10

I saw that one too. It was very sad, but good drama. That whole story line with Mark just ripped your heart out.

I love that ep! Joan Collins was perfect in it.
Now mine:
The Nanny:
"The Pen Pal"
Rating: 10/10 - Definitely a classic! :)
calvertfan 04-03-2004, 07:23 AM The Mary Tyler Moore Show: Neighbours (#513)
9/10. Very funny, but no Rhoda. And a Rhoda-less episode has to be a killer to get a 10 from me ;)
Ant-Lox 04-03-2004, 04:07 PM Seinfeld: "The Pen"
Elaine regrets accompanying Jerry on a trip to Florida to visit his parents. There are temperature control problems in the condo, a back breaking sofa bed, a slight overdose of muscle relaxants and the disposition of a pen that writes upside down.
the only Seinfled Episode that doesn't have Georgo in it!
Sitcomwriter 04-03-2004, 05:23 PM If TV Shows on DVD count then....
Clerks
The Last Episode Ever
9/10
A pretty good series finale and it stayed true to the movie more than all of the other episodes but the ending was kind of dumb and ruined it for me.
barwars 04-03-2004, 09:40 PM Mary Tyler Moore "003 - Bess, You Is My Daughter Now"
7/10
Phyllis never was one of my favorite characters.
Mary Tyler Moore "004 - Divorce Isn't Everything"
8/10
Perfect example of the "Mary/Rhoda" relationship.
Mary Tyler Moore "005 - Keep Your Guard Up"
7/10
Not the best, but still funny.
Mary Tyler Moore "006 - Support Your Local Mother"
9/10
Very good. Best episode of the series, up to that point.
this wasn't all in a row.
Actually.... this was over the course of this morning, from about 10:00 - 3:00

I love "The Pen". It's also Liz Sheridan's (Helen Seinfeld) favorite episode.

Omg, I so agree - I was crying with laughter during Mary and Rhoda's apples and bagels phone conversation, when Mary adds the finishing touch by saying "OK, Rhoda"
Two eppies of The Dick van Dyke Show:
The Night The Roof Fell In (209) (9.5/10)
The Two Faces Of Rob (202) (10/10)
'Two Faces' had me HOWLING, one of my faves so far for sure! :)
Kristen 04-05-2004, 01:37 AM "Mary Tyler Moore"
"Assistant Wanted, Female"
8/10
The best line had to be, "You mean, she works here? Good. You're fired."
dawsongirl 04-05-2004, 02:16 AM Incredible Hulk
"A Rock and a Hard Place", "Deathmask."
7/10 for Rock...I'm still watching Deathmask.

Part 6 (Season Finale)
10/10
The best episode so far! I loved the scenes with Devon and Alex's son Rodney.
Rodney: Daddy, when you were in the NBA, did you ever rape anybody?
Rock Me Baby
Not So Grand Parents
9/10
This episode was also really good. George Wendt ruled as Monty, Beth's dad, a retired pants salesman. My only problem is that it dragged towards the end. I would have wanted to see more with Monty before Jimmy "fired" him.

The Pilot
8/10
(Two hours worth of Starsky and Hutch is a tad too much for me, but the pilot was very interesting)....
barwars 04-08-2004, 03:58 PM Mary Tyler Moore - "The Snow Must Go On"
8/10
If Im not mistaken, the first appearance of the classic Chuckles the Clown.
Cheers - "The Heart is a Lonely Sniper"
9/10
A perfect example of an episode featuring the entire cast.
Mary Tyler Moore - "Bob and Rhoda and Teddy and Marry"
9/10
Gotta love the office crew.
And Rhoda gets better and better.
(this wasnt all this afternoon -- actually its over the past 3 days)
calvertfan 04-08-2004, 09:27 PM my first ever Andy Griffith Show episode: Opie and the Spoiled Kid (#321) I liked it enough but I don't think it's a show I'll watch every week, just when I have time.
and an ep of Ozzie and Harriet where Ricky was learning karate...apparently #928, The Manly Arts :D
Plus Dick van Dyke "Gesundheit Darling" (#212) - very funny stuff :D
Ant-Lox 04-09-2004, 11:41 AM Will And Grace "The Hospital Show" from season 2, just got the DVD!!!
Rhiannon 04-09-2004, 03:19 PM I watched "The View" this morning from 11-12 and in between I watched Laverne and Shirley
Sitcomwriter 04-28-2004, 01:44 AM Tanner '88
"Night of the Twinkies"
7/10
I only saw like 15-20 minutes of it. It was my 1st episode of this show and it was actually pretty good, what I saw of it anyway. A little corny and cheesey at times but kind of good. I liked the scenes with Cynthia Nixon's character and that other woman at the bar. I checked to see if it aired all week and it does so I intend on watching it again tomorrow.
Ant-Lox 04-28-2004, 10:42 AM 8 Simple Rules
'Consequences'
I liked it, I was tottaly shocked when the dog found weed in Kerry's backpack.
8/10
BowWowsBreezy 04-28-2004, 07:59 PM the last shows I watched were:

Less That Perfect- Arctic Nights (LMAO)
dawsongirl 04-29-2004, 02:41 AM The Nanny- the one where Fran and Val are in the hurricane.
