Anybody collecting them? The music is either in Dolby Digital or DTS. I have only four DVD Audio Discs right now. So far I have The Eagles- Hotel California, Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon, YES- Fragile, and The Doors- LA Woman.

I'd like to get some, but considering 99% of my music listening is either on my computer, or in my car, I won't bother. I have DVD-Rom on the comp, but not in the car

Yeah, you would need a surround sound home theatre system to really appreciate DVD Audios, unfortunately. But the only way to really enjoy classical music, for example, is either on DVD Audio, or the old 4- Channel Reel-to-Reel tapes decks. :)
I have some DVD-As, but I prefer SACD (Super Audio CD) because of the higher sampling rate.
On DVD Audio, I have:
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds (****ty 5.1 mix on here)
Queen - A Night At The Opera
Queen - The Game
R.E.M. - Document
R.E.M. - Automatic For The People
Yes - Fragile
Neil Young - Harvest

if I had to choose between the two, I'd say DVD-A's seem to be a lot better in the extras dept.

They certainly are. But for sound quality, SACD is the way to go. Besides, CD/SACD hybrids are a hell of a lot more practical than the CD/DVD-A flippers.
