Beginning May 11th , Adam Arkin ( Chicago Hope ) will be in the seasons final 3 eps playing a man from Cates past who wants to become a presence in her future. I`m pretty sure this guy will probably want to date Cate , so just thought you`d want to know that!

I'm sorry but I don't watch 8 Simple Rules anymore, but wondered why not have someone from Paul's Past come to the show!

Misty Doll, I know you didn't agree with my reasoning before, but the only other reason I can think of is that the writer's are reluctant to make the Hennessey death continue to be the focus of the show. They might be afraid that people would see this as a means to keep high ratings, and would be disrespectful to the memory of John Ritter.

I don't really know why they haven't written in a character from that side of the family to make a special appearence, but the fact is, if they haven't yet, they probably won't at all. It's too bad, but I don't see it happening now.
