Since some posts have been made about Mia Zapata (whose 1993 murder was the subject of a 1996 episode of UM), I thought I'd mention that there has been a murder conivction recently.

Jesus C. Mezquia was found guilty of first-degree murder in Zapata's death. He faces from 20 years to life in prison.
